Pours dark brown with a dark tan head. The aroma smells strongly of coffee with faint chocolate undertones. Tastes of coffee and bitter chocolate while still tasting like a good ol’ beer. Definitely full-bodied with a smooth texture and decent carbonation. Finishes smooth with faint bitterness. Chocolate lingers on the lips.

Leaves the mouth with a smoky, roasted coffee flavor. Slight hops. Not overpowering malts.

Tasted through a twelve ounce bottle. Aromas of mocha come the bottle. First off the tongue is the coffee flavors with a hint of chocolate. The finish is slightly bitter.

At Bierkraft. In pint glass. Lunch with Pedro, Miguel, David, Alberto && Miguel Angel Muñoz. With chicken casserole. Really pleasant coffee and chocolate notes with a vanilla sweet ending. Very smooth drinking and all packed in a low abv brew. Great

In bottiglia al 4:20 di Roma. Colore marrone scuro quasi nero, schiuma beige, cremosa. Al naso caffè, vaniglia, malti tostati. Al palato tostato, caffè, vaniglia e cacao, finale più dolce di quanto mi aspettassi. Ottima!

This is a very good beer. I found it to be a bit unique as I’ve never tasted anything quite like it before. A great porter with a definate mocha taste and smell.

Poured jet black from a bottle. Nice head at first but disappeared too quickly. Smells like a great cup of coffee. And tastes pretty much the same. Be better if there was a little more chocolate in the taste but its a great porter. One if my favorites. Wonderful hop finish. Love this one. Rogue rules!

A solid porter. The roasty coffee aroma and flavor are accented with dark chocolate. Lingering aftertaste and pleasant bitterness.

smell on this is amazing. Chocolate, roasty notes and some coffee. The taste is much the same. Lots of coffee and tons of chocolate without being artificial at all. One of the best porters out there.
