Bottle (650ml). Poured black with a good sized, tanned, frothy, head which was mostly lasting. Aroma was of toasted malts, with full cream milk chocolates, coco, black coffee, toast and roasted hazelnuts. Strong notes of black coffee in the flavor was a decent level of earthy hop bitterness, bitter dark chocolate, a pleasant milky/lactic/sour notes and hints of leather and nuts towards the finish. Medium bodied with medium carbonation, a dry mouthfeel, chewy texture and a long dry finish.

Botella. Color negro opaco.

---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Thanks to... Guy at Pivoteka. Blackish, tan head, thick. Dry chocolate, malt, wood, vague coffee, sweetish. Light taste as fuck, soft watery sweetish caramel and coffee, clean and, well, drinkable. Chuggable. Nice.

I bought this bottle during my trip in Vienna at beerlovers and I drank it yesterday at home in Lausanne. In my point of view, it is a tasty mocha porter with a deep black body and a creamy foam, the carbonation is regular for the style. The taste is overall well balanced, roasted malt, coffee, hop and this touch of mocha that it is giving a small touch of toffee in this porter that it is a dry one, few touch of vanilla, not bad to repeat for sure if I will have the time.

Ruddy brown. Coffee aroma. Malty flavour with chocolate and light coffee. Moderately sweet taste, full but not strong, that finishes bitter. Full body. Overall, a good coffee porter.

Pours dark brown, almot black, with tan head. Aroma is coffee, dark chocolate and cocoa powder, some astringency as well. Flavour is dark chocolate, deep roasted coffee ground, nuts. Finish is dry and astringent. Nothing special but not bad at all.

Bottle at The Leeky Tap, Leek. A deep brown colour with a thin tan head. Aroma of roasted malts, chocolate, coffee, brown sugar, some liquorice, a little gravy, a hint of wood, dark fruits, maybe grass and subtle spicy, earthy hops. Taste of roasted malts, chocolate, coffee, brown sugar, some liquorice, slight unami, a little dark fruits, a hint of wood and subtle spicy, earthy hops. Medium bodied and moderate carbonation. A dry, chocolate, roasted bitterness in the finish. A wonderfully complex porter, a superb array of aromas and flavours. Quite dry and earthy for a porter thnough but otherwise impressed.
