Copenhagen 22/5 2017. 35,5 cl bottle from Skjold Burne. Che Guevara type salutint with a clenched fist and a mug of Michael Porter on the label. Pours opaque dark brown with off-white head. Settles as almost transparent thin layer of foam. Not much Lacing. Aroma is pleasant and strong. Dark roasted malts, light coffee bitterness, brown sugar, a tiny whiff of smoke and dark chocolate. Soft carbonation and medium thick palate. Flavor is quite light without being bland. Quite good balance between sweetness and good strong coffee bitterness. Aftertaste is bittersweet. Easy to drink and very pleasant porter. josanguapo (1684) - SPAIN - MAY 17, 2017
At Bierkraft. In pint glass. Lunch with Pedro, Miguel, David, Alberto && Miguel Angel Muñoz. With chicken casserole. Really pleasant coffee and chocolate notes with a vanilla sweet ending. Very smooth drinking and all packed in a low abv brew. Great 17Beer (354) - Connecticut, USA - MAY 15, 2017
Toasted malt aromas with some coffee. Very dark brown with a very thin tan head that dissipates quickly. Lots of lacing. Coffee tastes with malt and chalk notes very well balanced. Low carbonation and high drinkability.
