22 ounce bottle into signature pint glass, no bottled dating. Very highly carbonated upon opening. Pours hazy deep golden color with a 2 finger dense white head with good retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a large amount of streaming carbonation retaining the head. Aromas of lemon, pear, light banana, pepper, wheat, bread, light honey, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance of fruity/spicy yeast, pale malt/honey, and herbal/earthy rose notes; with solid strength. Taste of lemon, pear, light banana, pepper, wheat, bread, light honey, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness. Light yeast spiciness on the finish; with lingering notes of lemon, pear, light banana, pepper, wheat, bread, light honey, and herbal/floral earthiness on the finish for a short bit. Good balance and robustness of fruity/spicy yeast, pale malt/honey, and herbal/earthy rose flavors; with a good malt/yeast balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium-high carbonation and medium bodied; with a very smooth, crisp, and slightly creamy/bready mouthfeel that is good. Alcohol is well hidden with zero warming present after the finish as expected of 4.8%. Overall this is a very solid witbier. All around good robustness and balance of fruity/spicy yeast, pale malt/honey, and herbal/earthy rose flavors; and very smooth and crisp to drink. A pleasantly enjoyable offering.

Poured from a bomber into a weizen glass on 05.08.14. A: See through gold/yellow. 1 finger head. S: Spices, coriander, orange peel. T: Orange peel, rose petals, wheat are dominant. Coriander is subtle. M: Watery. O: I liked this one. It had a lingering sweetness and it was very citrusy. Regardless, I won’t support Rogue anymore from what I’ve heard about them.

Bottle. Poured gold, clear with a minimal white head, no lacing. Aroma is mostly wheat and floral notes combined with some fruit; quite subtle. Taste of honey and wheat, having a hard time getting anything else. Crisp and refreshing, but just OK.

Overall a fairly boring lager. Pours an ugly clear orange with little head. Smells a bit of strawberries and rose. Taste is pretty basic, a bit of garlic upfront, with a bit more strawberry. Paired with a strawberry blue cheese salad, doesn't do much. Had in the bottle.

Draft. Pours a cloudy yellow color. Aroma and taste are banana, floral, and some citrus.

(bottle - 22 oz) Lightly hazy gold pour with a puffy white head. Light but floral aroma (shocking right?) with some light spice under it. Lots of rose petal and sweetness in the flavor at the start with a dry wheat backbone and a lightly spiced and bitter finish.

A 2 finger head sits on a clear golden brew, slowly shrinking leaving nice lacing behind. The nose has wheat and a very floral smell. There’s a sweetness there that reminds me of honey. Wheat is in the taste, light spiciness, not really a clove thingy, nor banana which I half expected. Just some light spiciness that maybe comes from the rose petals? I’m thinking the sweet notes come from them.. Medium bodied, nice level of carbonation. In the world of Hefes, this doesn’t really stack up but it’s a nice enough brew to drink.

Clear golden with a big, bubbly, off-white head. Noticeable rose petals in the aroma, which is fortunate, because I feel as though they are trying to cover up an aroma that is otherwise grain, cheese, and honey, or grain, cheese, and vomit. The cheese element doesn’t even smell like actual cheese. Instead I get the easy cheese phony stuff that comes in the can with the nipple you push to get at your phony cheese. Taste is a little sweet and a little cheesy and very mildly bitter; and lacking most of the ez cheeze/vomit character, it is the sole redemption of this beer. Fairly light bodied with semi-lively carbonation. I feel like this could have been done better....

Refrigerated brown bomber poured into a weizen glass. Pours slightly hazy golden with small white head. Aroma is grainy, medium body, low carbonation, and little lacing. Taste is estery malt, grainy, rose petals, and slightly bitter crisp hop finish. Mediocre, especially for the price.

thegreenrooster (4562) - St.louis, Missouri, USA - JUL 4, 2014
Pour is a hazy yellow with a small white head. Aroma is your typical wheat malt with a definite rose water there. Flavor is just a basic wheat malt base with not much after that. The rose in the aroma is totally lost in the flavor. Maybe a little rose perfume toward the end. Odd that this version has a lesser score than the base version.
