Bomber poured a clear gold with a small lasting white head. Aromas of wheat, yeast, rose and citrus. Palate was light bodied and crisp with a smooth finish. Flavors of wheat, citrus and light rose with a smooth lingering citrus finish.

Bov (12636) - Bienne, SWITZERLAND - JUN 20, 2013
from Erzbierschof - cloudy orange beer with a modest head retention; very yeasty, gently citric with notes of ripe bananas and flowers; medium-bodied, gently sweet; earthy and corny finish with light spicy tones and more hints of bananas and yeasty notes again

hopdog (12584) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 29, 2017
22oz bottle. Poured a yellow color with an averaged sized head. Not my favorite style ... floral, grains, some fruits, and some herbalness.

Kinda flat out of the bottle. The floral aroma and flavor is nice, but there’s not really a whole lot else going for it. Ends up being a little boring.

Bottle. Hazy golden brown, or dark golden, depending on your perspective. Aroma is wheat and light esters, mostly soft fruit but I guess some florals are in here too (I think I’m being biased by the label-- wow, does that granny need some new glasses!). Wheaty palate, again with some esters playing a minor role, with a finish that is slightly tart. Non-germanic wheat beers just don’t impress me. If your yeast isn’t magical, then don’t make a wheat beer.

Pour from a 22 oz. bottle shared by brew33crew- thanks again, Jason! Pours a pale cloudy-yellow gold with a white head. Notes of wheat, pale malts, minerals, faint banana, straw, and light florals. Light-bodied, with high carbonation and a crisp, dry mouthfeel. Not bad, though off style. Very dull.

Pours a slightly hazy gold with a small rocky white head. Nose has some wheat, bready yeast, a touch of herbal floral tones (rose, but I wouldn’t have guessed it if I didn’t know the description), and a little bit of citrus. Palate was crisp, medium and smooth with a decent linger. Has a charming wheaty flavor of wheat grain, bread, some doughy hefe yeast, and some nice complexities of rose pedals and light citrusy tones that intrigue me after every sip...and the body is so crisp with a finish so lasting, it’s hard to stop sipping...

22oz bottle, purchased from Whole Foods, shared with locals. Mostly clear golden orange color. Pours with a big, slightly off-white head. Medium body. Smooth, soft lighter carbonation. Dry texture. Moderate sweet taste. Hint of tart. Light lemon, hint of floral rose but not much of the rose in the flavor. Some acidic that I don’t really appreciate. Not a great hefeweizen, not a fan of this. Texture is a bit too soft and ultra dry. Would appreciate a little more fullness.
