Bottle from Beer Moth, Manchester. Dark brown pour with a fading tan head. Aroma had roasted malt, dark fruit choc and a little spice. The flavour was slightly sweet with more roasted malt, and notes of fruits and licorice. Some vague hoppage lurking in the shadows. Seemed a bit thin. Forgettable and sits on the average side of the street. hman43 (1586) - Pinehurst, North Carolina, USA - AUG 9, 2014
It pours with a thick, brown head. It is dark brown in color. It has coffee aromas mixed with nuts that has a spicy pop to it. The head is uneven and does provide some lacing as it recedes. It has a coffee and nut taste with other roasted flavors. rayaron (1828) - Kfar Saba, ISRAEL - JUL 24, 2014
Bottle sample at Rogue Brewery tasting at Beer&Beyond, Tel Aviv. Dark brown with quickly diminishing light brown head. Heavy roasted malt aroma, coffee. Flavor of roasted malt, Japanese tea, notes of coffee, raisins. Feel like kind of lager. Light to medium body. Lack of alcohol. Roasted finish. PriorL (3068) - Gent, BELGIUM - JUL 11, 2014

Bottle @ RBBSG, 2014. Thanks Benzai! Dark brown with beige foam. Soft carbonation. Light roasted with some sweet hints. Bit fruity. Rather flat, also metallic notes. Not very well balanced.

650 ml. bottle sampled @ RBBSG III. Thanks to Benzai! Dark amber. Nose is a bit odd, plain spaghetti / soba, light malt & caramel. Taste is weak, nondescript, soba / spaghetti, touch malt, caramel, faint paint thinner. Med, bit thinner body. Eh, I cannot make up my mind if this is an interesting concept or another one of Rogue’s inexplicable fallacies. Benzai (15579) - Oirschot, THE NETHERLANDS, NETHERLANDS - JUL 5, 2014
Sampled @ RBBSG III. Clear red-brown color, average sized beige head. Smell and taste malts, lightly grains, slightly roast, lightly bitter. Average to medium body and carbonation. Beerhunter111 (20460) - P´Castle, GERMANY - MAY 12, 2014
Dunkelbraunes Bier mit geringer Schaumkrone. Geruch stark nach geröstetem Malz, Karamell. Geschmack sehr röstmalzig, Karamall, nussig. TempeCoyote (63) - Tempe, Arizona, USA - APR 30, 2014
Pours a deep brown with thin tan head. Interesting aroma of roasted malts. Sweet and toasty flavor with mild bitterness balancing it out. The malts are super smooth almost creamy and somehow get the toasted flavor through without additional bitterness. Good stuff if you're in the mood for a dark ale that's not as bitter as an IPA and something thinner than a porter or stout.

Dark cola brown appearance with beige head. Aroma consists of caramel malts. Taste of toast, dark malt and nuts. Pretty smooth. Decent although not super exciting.
