Bottle 11.6%. Hazy dark yellow with medium off-white head. Aroma is malt, fruit, caramel, toasted, fruit peel and a little floral. Flavour is malt, caramel, toasted, hop, little fruit peel, sweet, warming, notes of alcohol, little floral, grass and medium bitter. Brettsky06 (536) - Manitoba, CANADA - DEC 16, 2017
UPDATED: DEC 16, 2017 Interesting beer. Notes of candied fruit to start but strong pine and hoppy finish. oobawa (1922) - Tennessee, USA - DEC 4, 2017
Bottle of unknown age. When asked, the hirsute gentleman at the register replied, “Old as shit, man. You want a discount?” Hoppy beast of a barleywine, like a bucket of pine cones and juniper sprigs dumped into a bigger bucket of caramel. Lots of sprucey herbalness, some pencil shavings, some wet cardboard, mixed with a sweet bun backbone and Pacman yeast. Gets a little too bitter and herbal on the finish, but it could just be this bottle’s way past its prime. Regardless, it’s gorgeous, the alcohol’s an afterthought, and the nose is like snorting straight caramel. Curious, but not exactly good. KennethArd (666) - Odense, DENMARK - OCT 23, 2017
Aroma of bitter orange & sweet clementine. Hazy orange with long lasting white head. Very intense bitterness. Full bodied, sticky texture & average carbonation.

750 ml bottle. Pours a deep gold with moderate head. Aromas of sugary tropical fruit leaning towards pineapple, sweet doughy malts, and paste. Flavors of same with additional fruit and resin. Very nice. bdleedahl (712) - , Saskatchewan, CANADA - SEP 4, 2017
Quite bitter as it should be, however it's slightly astringent. Not so cleanly made, lacking a bit of body for the ibus. Pretty average for an ipa. Bottle from bc.

Bottle. Clear and golden with a big head. Lots of hop aroma. Thick malt backbone. Alcohol is well hidden. The malt profile isn’t quite sweet enough or dark enough for me to call it a barleywine. But it’s a fine double IPA. dnstone (4019) - Kansas City, Missouri, USA - MAY 31, 2017
Pours golden in color with white head. Deep malty aroma. Big malty earthy flavor, moderately sweet.

Taste up front is big slightly sweet malts with a creeping back end of hops, with a good bitterness in the finish.
