Bottled. Hazy amber. The aroma has loads of caramel hay and apricots. Sweet and full bodied with compact mouthfeel. Very hoppy with notes of pineapple and yeast, lots of toffeeish malt. Extremely bitter finish.
UPDATED: JAN 2, 2006 (Bottle 35,5 cl) Mahogany brown with a warm, reddish glow and a small, off-white head. The aroma alone is a bombardment of impressions: thick, rich aroma hoppiness and a very vinous touch. The body is strong and overly potent with typical notes of raisins and other dried fruits, plus overripe notes of plums etc. Quite hoppy finish from the 120 IBU. Thanks to Humleimporten for sharing this gem. 291205 Leighton (21513) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - OCT 16, 2009
On tap at Rattle n Hum. 2007 Vintage. Pretty solid. Poured a dark red with a soft, off-white head and tender lacing. Nose of roasted malts and sweet aromas (fruit, caramel). Flavor is very sweet and rich. Strong malty character with dark fruit and syrupy sweet characteristics. Medium bodied. Warm finish.
