Bomber of Jazz Guy Ale from Barley and Hops in Glenwood, Illinois - This poured a copper/amber body with a decent beige head and supplied plenty of lacing. The aroma is toasty grain and caramel with a bit of lemon. Same with the flavor but with the additon of an earthy, citrusy bitterness. Dry finish. Drinkable, but uninspired. In short: A boring low intensity golden ale with sweet dried fruits flavour. Extra-bland.Harsebrau (227) - Kansas City, Missouri, USA - OCT 4, 2009
How: Bottle 22oz (called Shark Tooth). Consumed fresh a few months back.
The look: Partly cloudy golden body topped by a short-lived white head
In long: Nose of dried candied fruits, mainly oranges. Taste is more dried candied fruits, biscuits, a little caramel. Bottle talks about a hoppy bite but I’d say this is a hoppy caress with only a faint floral hops touch with no bitterness to speak of. Finish leaves a residual sugar sweetness flavour. This is easy to drink because it is very light on taste but what it tastes is very very boring. This is beyond bland. And what is beyond bland exactly? I don’t know. Clouds?
Aroma of sour milk with maybe a hint of something chocolate. Golden pour with white fizzy head. No lacing. Flavor is sort of odd; Some hop, some candy, some malt. Not a whole lot to be excited about. MadIndian (2743) - Levittown, Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 23, 2009
From my back log. Golden pour with thin off white head. A mild fruit and malt aroma with a malter bitter finish.

Golden, with rising bubbles and no head. Typical golden aroma of citrus, peppery hops and some malt. Palate is a bit overcarbonated, but smooth. Bitter floral/grassy with a dry finish. Decent brew.

From a bottle poured a golden color with a fair amount of head. Grassy malty flavor with a lingering finish. vtafro (7444) - Wayne, New Jersey, USA - JUN 29, 2009
Bottle. Decent beer, nothing too special. Worth trying but attribute is drinkablility, hate saying that feel like a macro commercial. Cletus (6368) - Connecticut, USA - JUN 24, 2009
Pours a hazy amber with a large white head. Smells of citrus and toasted malt. Tastes citrussy and sweet with some toastiness on the finish. JaBier (8253) - Capital City, Ohio, USA - JUN 20, 2009
22oz bottle as Jazz Guy Ale shared by a friend. I’m calling shenanigans on the suggestion that this beer is the same is this Oregon Golden Ale, ’cuz this mutha is a deep amber color. Aroma is grainy malt with some earthy hops. Grainy and bready malt flavor with some earthy hops in the finish. Definitely an amber ale. unclemike (3163) - Junction City Kansas, Kansas, USA - JUN 19, 2009
22 oz. bottle. Golden amber colour with a mostly diminishing creamy and fizzy white head. Caramel and light citrus aroma. Caramel malts up front with an earthy, lightly herbal bitter finish. Medium bodied, soft yet juicy mouthfeel.
