An amber beer with a collapsing white head. The aroma is sweet with primary notes of caramel, but also a good deal of hops. The flavor is sweet with slight notes of hops and straw, giving it a dry end. The body is thin. The flavor doesn’t hold up to the promises of the aroma. joergen (29623) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - FEB 7, 2007

Bottled. Ambery golden colour with a small white head. Aroma is sweet malts, some nectar, grass, floral hops and mild herbal notes as well. Flavour is quite much the same along with some mild toasted and earthy notes. omhper (25955) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - JAN 15, 2002

(On tap) Clear, pilsener golden with a white head. Lightly malty aroma. The body is thin and sweetish malty with a dry bitterness. Quite boring really. 240307 harrisoni (19552) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - OCT 23, 2006
UPDATED: OCT 30, 2006 On tap at Rogue,Portland. Golden with thin white head. Aromatic sherberty hop, good pale malt. Slightly softer than most and then hop on end. Creamy yeast. Subtle (by Rogue standards) hop finish. Fine. Oakes (19426) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - FEB 17, 2001
Typical Rogue-ish crystal malts and earthy hops all over this beer. Compared with normal micros, this beer is quite complex and deep; compared with other Rogue's it's, less impressive. jtclockwork (17654) - , New Jersey, USA - MAY 6, 2010
Has that typical "Rogue" hop malt taste to it. Roasted malts. Very tasty. Rated 3/23/03 Dedollewaitor (16545) - Odense, DENMARK - MAR 26, 2007
Unclear gold with white bubbly foam. Easy spicy & malty caramel. Good body fine balance. Pleasant, easy drinkable ale! This is good but not very interesting!
