UPDATED: AUG 29, 2003 One of the better fruit beers I've had. Not too sweet, slightly sour, with a hint of berry flavor. Brew was obviously unfiltered as it was cloudy and had large sediment at the bottom of the bottle. I liked it better than the lambics I've tried. Some malt and hop present but not very pronounced. Overall, it smelled better than it tasted but it was certainly drinkable.

Pretty typical, not of Rogue though. I thought they could have done a lot better. Not much complxities to this cherry colored brew. Brewerd with marion berries I believe.

This beer is pretty nice, smooth. Fairly sweet start and finish - nearly no bitterness at all. Small head fully diminishes, leaving a few minute lacings. This beer is pretty flavourful, but I was expecting a little stronger berry flavour. 'Tis a nice beer for after-dinner relaxation, or perhaps with some dessert, but forget about having it at a barbecue.

From old tasting notes. Hazy Amber color with a pinkish hue. Small off-white head. Sweet berry aroma. Zesty malt flavor with strong fruity notes reminiscent of raspberries. Disappointingly insipid finish and aftertaste.

Still not into ’Fruit’ beers, while drinkable, the carbination and overly sweet tones, detract from the barley malts and what little hops are present.

DocLock (10683) - Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 7, 2004
Cellared. DEcent berry aroma, with a decent head. Tastes of berries, hops, and malt. Finishes sweet, with berries and some hops at the finish. I will miss this beer.

Berry-licious to very last drop. A little to fuity for my liking but not horrible either. Whorthy of a try any time.

Crit (3996) - Surrey, British Columbia, CANADA - NOV 20, 2003
Highly carebonatd, gassy and fizzy. Rather subdued fruit taste, with a slight tartness. Not one of their better efforts.
