First appearance it lacked the head retention I’d usually like to see but that could have been my fault... the aroma was nice and malty although it was light. The flavor was dark and had a nice heavy oatmeal mouth feel, especially at warmer temperatures. Hop flavor was medium low but extremely well balanced. Overall an excellent beer to enjoy by the fire on a cold winters night.

UPDATED: JAN 13, 2018 сухой, не много бочки, какао бобы, на отдаление хмель жженочка, в общем не плохая земелька, разве что ну не овсянка

Tastes and smells like the dark malts used in it, just like chewing on the roasted malts. Smooth, malty, almost like no hops or yeast were used. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Ciemnobrunatne piwo z piękną beżową pianą. Aromat kawowo-czekoladowy, trochę chmielu i nut palonych. W smaku podobnie, kawa, czekolada, finisz wytrawny. Trochę za mało ciała. Niezły stout

Bottle shared with Višnja 666. Thanks! Black, small tan head. Light chocolate, dark fruits, roasty, cardboard. Light liquorice, nuts, very nice roasty flavours, charred wood. Medium body, moderate carbonation, roasty finish. Impressive use of hops and oats!

Toasted grain bitterness dominant tones on nose and taste. Also coffee and dark chocolate on tongue. Bitter aftertaste. Very full bodied even for nitro. Nice. One of bitterest American stouts I've had

Within the style i don't find it to be that great. The taplines at pdx need to be cleaned badly, rogue should monitor this. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
