i picked this one up on the strength of being a huge rouge fan.this perticular rouge gave off a yellow lager type color with an average white head.the smell was of straw, and the signature rouge aroma.i was delighted to find the palate more complex than expected and the body as well.the sig. rouge hops and malts combined well with the typical straw like pilsner flavor.this is very good in a very different way.

Uberpils nein. Unterpils ja. Fairly light and watery. The sterling hops are too fruity. Lawn mower beer.

Bottle pours a vibrant translucent orange, medium bubbley white head, spotty lacing, with light carbonation.   Odd aroma of herbs and cooked vegetables.   Taste is malty, some spices as well.   Seems a bit muttled.   Medium body and mouthfeel.   Finishes with a herbish malty flavor.   Not very crisp, but then again this isnt supposed to be your average pilsner.   Meh...   Maybe the bottled version doesnt work too well?   At least not for me...

Dusty and salty flavor, some nice leafy bitter saaz-like hops, crisp and a little tart, like malt vinegar... peppy and sour, I enjoy drinking this one... only prefer more sweet lemon, orange and spiced in a good pils. Very well made... saltine cracker flavor comes to mind.

Good pils. Very light and pure. An enjoyable brew, but not a whole lot going on. But overall a refreshing clean ale. Enjoy!

maybe the best Pils I’ve ever had. Wild River’s Bohemian Pils might be better. Poirs a wonderful gold, clear, good foamy white head. Fairly sweet malty aroma. Good malt taste, pretty bitter, an excellent Pilsner. Try it before its gone forever!

Pours a light golden color out of the bottle with a nice white head that leaves a decent amount of lacing onthe glass. Aroma has a nice straw smell, with a light maltiness and some floral hops. This pilsner has a nice subtle sweet malt start, a little straw taste in the finish and some good bitterness from the floral hops. Well balanced with a smooth mouthfeel and crisp finish.
