Wow. Pours hazed reddish-amber with just a slight head. As soon as I poured and put this to my nose I said, "are you kidding me!?" Both the bacon and maple dominate the aroma and taste. Sweet and drinkable, the flavours sit on your palate long afterward. Very unique. I would have again.

A beautiful ruby red in color. Has a nice frothy white head. The lacing is spotty. Maple syrup is in the aroma. I smell french toast with a side of bacon. Maple seems to be the main note that comes out in the aroma. The finish is smokey, hickory bacon that is a little well done. The texture is a creamy, just a freshly baked maple bar. I feel like i have just eaten breakfast. I will drink in the morning for sure.

750 ml. bottle- Pours hazy orange with a two finger off white head. Aroma is WOW, bacon, ham n’ bacon brutha, intense and in your face breakfast goodness! The taste is the same, smoked galore, bacon and smoked campfire meats, oink oink, watch out piggies, we goin huntin’. Ioved it, unique, over the top, and in your face flavor, really good.

Amber pour with a moderate beige head. The aroma is a mix of maple syrup, bacon and a somewhat overpowering artificial smoke. The maple flavor stands out as the most dominant, the aftertaste is very smoky with just a hint of bacon. The body is thinner than expected. I’ll give this an "A" for effort but it didn’t stick the landing.

75 cl bottle @ Rogue Distillery and Public House, Portland
Aroma is so strong on syrup that even smelling this one hurts my teeth. Also some brown sugar. Flavour is smoky with tar that turns into syrup towards the finish. It took a while and some sips Quite interesting and very unique.

75 cl bottle @ brewpub.
Pours hazy amber color with medium-sized head. Aroma of sweet syrup, tar, mild fruit notes and sugar. Flavour of spices, tar, syrup, sugar and malts. Very sweet syrupy aroma but the taste is surprisingly watery and bland. Unique stuff.

140712. Tap at the distillery, Portland. Pours hazy copper with a nicr head. Aroma maple syrup, lots of it. Some smoke. Strange smokey syrupy sugary taste. Wheres the bacon? Odd stuff indeed. Could be used as a replacement for breakfast. Not Bad.

750 ml bottle. Pours reddish amber with a small off-white head that quickly goes to a thin film that leaves a little lacing.

The aroma is a bit strange - soapy sugary smoked malts and maple. It smells a bit chemically and leathery.

The flavor is sweet sugary malts (molasses and maple) with a big smokiness (liquid smoke and BBQ). The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with smooth carbonation.

Overall, very strange. The sweet sugar doesn’t blend well with the smoke. Interesting to try though.

Pours golden with an off white head. Aroma is unique without a doubt. I get almost complete maple with the exception being some smoky undertones. Taste brings out more of a smoky taste. Still a good amount of maple present, especially in the aftertaste. I really get the impression that I am drinking a breakfast of pancakes and bacon. How is this possible? This one has some fizzy carbonation and is more on the dry side. This is very different than anything that I have ever had. I enjoyed this. But aside from that, this is worth trying just for the novelty.
