Bottle at home. Roasted nuts and fruity banana on nose, little bit thin, dry chocolate roast, dry sticky nutty taste, light banana, awesome. samsmith33 (772) - - DEC 21, 2013
Not bad. Chocolate is prevalent, but not bitter like a choc stout. Banana is masked, but there. I don’t get the peanut butter. This is better than the maple bacon offering. Interesting. EyeAmBaldman (461) - Illinois, USA - DEC 15, 2013
This was unexpected. Pours black and thick. I didn’t really taste the banana. It’s more of a chocolate beer really. It was sweet, which I didn’t expect. There was a hint of peanut butter. It was nice to try but more of a specialty beer. harrisoni (19332) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - DEC 14, 2013
Bottle at The Bottle Shop Canterbury. Oxidised. Smells like a fairground. No it’s horrible. Oxidised thin in mouth and basically terrible. Nasty. Theydon_Bois (20621) - Hazlemere, the lower Xhitlerns, Buckinghamshire, ENGLAND - DEC 10, 2013
Bottle split at the White Horse during the Old Ale festival, just for shits and giggles, Jackie instegated this I think, 22/11/13.
Light black with a thin tan covering that dissipates to a swirl.
Nose is sweet sugar, syrup, molasses, chocolate sauce, dark fruits, banana.
Taste comprises coconut, banana split, sweet notes, sugars, dark toffee fudge, not getting any peanut butter in this mind.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, sweet finale.
Ok - not as bad as most folks have made out to me, but certainly one for an 8 way split at a tasting!

Bottle at 4k/5k/10k. Pours dark brown with a small off-white head. Aroma is exactly what the name indicates, peanut butter, chocolate and banana. Taste is medium sweet, mild-medium bitter, some chocolate, not very good at all. Dry finish. Not disgusting but I wouldn’t drink this again. TBone (18223) - Pori, FINLAND - DEC 7, 2013
Bottle @SBWF 2013Dfonorow (2274) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - DEC 6, 2013
Darrk brown color, small steady brownish head. Sweet "donut" aroma, some banana. Light bodied. Flavor has some spices light caramel, marzipan. Interesting.
Pour is brown with a small khaki head. Aroma is quite pleasant with chocolate leading the charge followed by banana, caramel, and fudge. Flavor is disappointing with the peanut butter faded to the background, although the banana shines a little more. Thin/watery, but not as bad as I was expecting. lusikka (7833) - Tampere, FINLAND - DEC 6, 2013

Pours a black colour with a small beigeish head. Aroma is very sweet with sugary banana candies, butter and syrup. Flavour of toastiness, chocolate, rather strong nuttiness and banana sweetness. Medium bodied, thin mouthfeel and low-ish carbonation. Finishes sharp, dry and malty. Thin and even lacks the sweetness the bacon maple version had. Boring.
Aroma: Very strong chocolate and banana smell( big surprise) overpowers any maltiness and hop aromas
Taste: The chocolate, banana and PB tastes are strong at first but disappear very quickly and gives way to hop bitterness
Appearance: very darl yet clear amber body, thin lace head retains well
