750 Pepto Bismol-looking bottle from The Party Source. Pours a brown color with a small beige ring for a head. Chocolate, caramel, fudge, nuts, toast, and cola are present, with some sweet banana in there as well adding a sort of bananas foster character, but much more muted than the decadent dessert. Light-bodied, with medium carbonation and a dry, semi-sweet mouthfeel. Underwhelming in all aspects. I didn’t think it’d be great, but the last thing this beer should be is dull. Wow this is some beer. Nice thick beige head, with some lacing. Deep, deep rich brown color that refuses to be seen though. The smell is a wallop of chocolate and candy floss. The taste is just right up there picking up the chocolate, that almost washes out any banana, malt with a sweet finish. Can’t decide if I love this beer or not. But I’ll buy it again. Thanks for trying something different. Dragonfly1 (500) - Colorado, USA - NOV 29, 2013
Happy Thanksgiving. After dinner bomber with dessert. Actually much better than I was expecting. This was more like a chocolate porter or holiday ale. Pours nearly black. Aroma is cocoa powder, flavors are heavy chocolate up front, some faint banana, but no peanut butter at all (darn, was really hoping for that too). This works overall in a weird way, wish there was more PB though. beerbill (3618) - Laurel, New York, USA - NOV 29, 2013
750 ml bottle. I picked this up last month while my wife and I were in Newport, RI. Shared with friends and family last night for Thanksgiving. The first thing I thought when I poured it is that it looked just like Coca Cola. The aroma is chocolate with perhaps a few notes of banana. The peanut butter is non-existent. The flavor is chocolate and caramel with barely a trace a banana and again, no sign of the peanut butter at all. A bit of banana in the aftertaste. Mild-moderate bitterness at the finish. Lighter in body than I was expecting. I guess thinking about peanut butter and bananas I was expecting something more dense, which in retrospect would probably have been way too cloying. Glad I shared it because there’s no way I could imagine getting down 750 ml of this stuff. mully262 (56) - Lakeville, Minnesota, USA - NOV 24, 2013
Very intriguing beer. The notes and flavors change as the beer warms. Peanut butter notes come through stronger as the beer warms. Banana hits throughout.

2013/11/22 - Pours a dark, cola brown with a thin, khaki coloured head. Aroma is banana, cocoa and smoke. Taste is similar to nose with a smokey malt finish. Mouthfeel is medium, with low carbonation and a drying finish. Didn't like this as much as the maple bacon version.

750ml bottle poured into a Samuel Adams Perfect Pint. Really deep ruby with two fingers tan head. Aroma is cocoa up front and then strong bananas. Flavor is predominantly banana with moderate chocolate and finally peanuts in the background. Thick with average carbonation. Long cocoa finish. Interesting experiment. Not horrible but I probably wouldn’t buy this again. Metalchopz (3515) - Cantley, Quebec, CANADA - NOV 18, 2013
Woohoo... another Voodoo Doughnut beer from Rogue !! Pours a cola-looking colour with a big beige head, great retention and thick creamy lacing. Aromas of cocoa with some banana notes. The taste is chocolaty as well with some roasted malts and yeast. Hints of banana in the finish. The mouthfeel is quite light, so goes down nicely. More like a good chocolate beer on the weizen-side. No sight of peanut butter though. Still, thankful I tried it. ROBC3366 (148) - north reading, Massachusetts, USA - NOV 17, 2013

750 ml bottle from LCBO. Had to at least try it once... Pours a dark colour with huge tan head. Aroma is banana, chocolate. Taste is banana, chocolate, vanilla, hint of coffee. I guess I can say I’m happy I didn’t really noticed the peanut butter in there...
