750 ml bottle. Translucent brown topped by a big rocky light tan head. Interesting candy-like cocoa puffs aroma. I do detect hints of peanut butter and banana, as well. Flavor is roasted sweet malt with notes of cocoa, nuts and toasted pumpernickel bread. Little hop prescence. I respect Rogue Ales for their adventurism and creativity, but this is just not very good. It tastes artificial.

Poured from bomber, notes of butterscotch, some chocolate artificial. Some sweet doughyness. Weak off white head. Dark brown color. 4.5 bd, bry 7.2, kev 5, 2 beauex. 8.0 Lisa- best beer I’ve had

Bottle. Pours pitch black, like a stout with a lasting white head. Aroma is mostly sugar. Very sweet beer, some banana and peanut butter in there but very sugary. Drinkable enough, liked the idea although disappointing.

Goofy beer, but honestly, not that bad. Noticeable chocolate with maybe a hint of banana and peanut butter.

750 ml. Pours opaque chocolate with a lasting film of bubbles. Nose is chocolate glaze with a sourish fruit overtone, like an apple-strawberry juice. Flavor is more of the same plus some toasted nut and cola. I get some banana after a while, as well as some wooden notes in the long finish. Near-medium body is balanced by the acidity and has medium-high carbonation. Pretty much a mess, but not quite a drainpour.

YigSvartka (304) - Manitoba, CANADA - NOV 23, 2014
Opaque dark brown, mid sized head. Interesting aroma containing chocolate, caramel, banana, and roast, but perhaps slightly too artificial. Creamy, mid-thick texture, not unlike a brown. Roast and chocolate dominate, but a peculiar fruity banana like taste is extremely apparent at the finish. It is certainly unique, but artificiality is present. The fruity, caramel banana taste tastes akin to cotton candy or syrup, although not overly sweet. No peanut butter at all. Although not fantastic, I’m satisfied given the originality.

A dark brown color with a small tan head. Aroma was a strange combination of banana, chocolate and some peanut, not the aroma I was expecting. Taste was bad for me. I did not get the banana or peanut or chocolate taste. Not for me. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

750ml bottle in conical pint glass. Opaque brown-black appearance with thin head. Bubblegum nose, smells almost exactly like the strawberry freeze-dried astronaut food. Taste of thin peanut butter, artificial banana and sugar. Bland sugary aftertaste. Interesting to try, but would not buy again.

Bottle @ RG . Dark brown. with thin head. Play-doh with some nuttiness. Very sweet tasting and chocolaety.
