Dark chocolate brown color with a slight red tone and well-sustained tan head. Banana dominates the aroma, then chocolate, with ever so faint peanut butter. The flavor is intense, sweet caramel with roasty bitterness, with trace banana and very, very faint peanut butter; with a schwarzbier-like aftertaste. The palate, although thin, held up to a bit of warming. I wish it had a little more body, more chocolate and peanut butter (because that’s my philosophy in general), but I thought it was less offensive than the bacon maple edition. pours almost black with small tan head. In aroma chocolate, unnatural banana. In taste mainly banana, bit of chocolate, rather weary, light bitterness. light watery body. mike_77 (7022) - Breda, NETHERLANDS - FEB 23, 2014
Hazy dark brown with thin lacy head. Intense sweet aroma with lots of candified sugar, jam, banana syrup and chocolate. Body is thin, watery. Flavours match the aromas with dark chocolate malt bitterness coming through in the finish so that this somehow partially resembles beer. EcnarM (112) - Hattiesburg, Mississippi, USA - FEB 8, 2014
A buddy brought this over as a lol lets try this. Started to think it might not be bad with it's dark pour and decent aroma. But it fell short after that. First and last time.

750ml bottle into a mug; served cool.
Aroma: Loads of chocolate and peanut butter, with quite a bit of banana. It smells sweet, creamy, and delicious.
Appearance: Opaque, dark brown body with a thick tan head. Nice lacing.
Taste: Chocolate and banana slide in first, slightly sweet. Malty, just a teeny hint of peanut butter. Flavors are gentle, smooth.
Palate: Medium body, soft carbonation. Moderate length on the finish, ends on slightly bitter chocolate.
Overall: Smells wonderful, tastes pretty nice. It’s fun! I probably wouldn’t drink it all the time, but it’s a fun beer every now and then. Try it at least once!

750ml bottle from LCBO. Toronto, Ontario. Pours an opaque dark brown colour with a small mocha head. Leaves spotty lacing around the glass. It has an artificialchocolate and banana flavoring aroma.Taste like artificial chocolate, and banana candy.Palate: Light bodied, watery and fizzy soda like carbonation. It?s the worst ale I?ve ever tasted. robgibbens (432) - Gaithersburg, Maryland, USA - JAN 26, 2014
Pours black with a nice head. Laces nicely. Aroma is chocolate and fruity. Fruit aroma is more like frozen bananas. Flavor is bitter with chocolate in the back. Seems watery, chalky. A little unfitting for Rogue, in my opinion. deyholla (12031) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - JAN 26, 2014
Bottle. Pours a hazy dark brown with a gray head that dissipates to the edges and laces slightly. Aroma has lots of banana with a hint of dark chocolate and a bit of earthy musty dark grains. Flavor has lots off creamy banana with an odd chocolate note and thin dark grains. johnnyoski (445) - Macomb, Michigan, USA - JAN 25, 2014
Bomber. Cola brown color with a foamy brown head. I can detect a mixture of all 3 advertised flavors in the aroma, however the flavor is a muddled mess. The chocolate and banana do not combine well and I can only detect a trace of the banana in the finish. Creamy texture with soft carbonation. Lighter body than I expected. Too bad the first impression didn’t carry through to the flavor. I will skip this one in the future. Beerathon (1683) - Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 18, 2014
I thought this was a fun beer. The peanut butter came through in the nut brown ale base and the chocolate and banana were more subdued.
