Decent and unique. Nice aroma that smelled like a dessert with raspberry and chocolate. Flavors worked but it was hard to detect the pretzel. Definitely more of a sipper. Lighter palate and somewhat watery. theisti (4177) - Kansas, USA - JUL 5, 2016
750 ml bottle given to me for Father’s Day by my lovely wife. The pour is a dark brown, hazed, with a bit of tan head. The aroma is mostly chocolate up front, along with some caramel malt and maybe a hint of grain that might resemble pretzel towards the end. The taste is similar to the nose, big chocolate up front, caramel and the grain. All fresh and clean. As the beer warms, pick up a bit of raspberry and traditional Rogue yeast. The palate is medium to heavy bodied soft carbonation and chocolate sweet aftertaste. Well executed. j12601 (13027) - Poughkeepsie, New York, USA - JUN 14, 2016
Bottle at James’ cellar cleaning tasting. Pours a softly hazed brown with a thin tan head. Big chocolate and fruit, smells like a raspberry stuffed chocolate. Medium bodied, but a touch empty at the start, raspberry jam. Sweet on the finish, a touch of chocolate.

RobertDale (6755) - Lansing, Kansas, USA - MAY 24, 2016
Sample at Waldo Hopfest 2016. Comes dark brown with a small tan head. Aroma of raspberries and chocolate. Taste is raspberries, chocolate, and malt. No pretzel taste for me. Was prepared not to like this, but found it pretty good.

Pours deep mahogany into a shaker. Mocha head with little retention recedes to hug rim. Soft and dry with sweet raspberry and chocolate front to back.
