On tap, pours yellow, some light lacing, overwhelming aroma of grapefruit. A malty ipa, but single minded, there is a bit too much going on in this one for my taste.

Aroma of floral and citrus hops... Yellow orange in color... Flavor is citrusy, notes of grapefruit and apricots, fairly decent malt backbone to balance the citrus hop bitterness that lingers on the palate... Nicely done, reminds me of a lot of Sierra Nevada’s IPAs.

Hazy orange, The aroma is kinda fat and hazy in origin. In the mouth there is a twist of cabbage then a big, coarse bitterness. The aftertaste is sort of sterile. I could say I expected a little more here.

Light copper color and very still. Rocky, bubbly head with sticky lacing. Straight hop aroma. Piney and grassy. Flavor is highly bitter. Extremely dry. Not that enjoyable.

22oz bottle poured into a tulip glass. Aroma is bitter hops. Pours a cloudy dark yellow, nearly orange. Head is white and pillowy. Lacing is decent. Beer is grapefruit and spruce. Bitter finish. Not bad, but have had better IPAs.

22 oz. bottle.Pours a cloudy, golden, orange color with a small white head. Head goes pretty quickly but leaves a nice amount of lace. Citrus and pine hop aroma. Tastes like an alcoholic grapefruit. Huge citrus hop flavors with a weak attempt to balance things with a bit of malt. Medium bodied with a big bitter finish.

UPDATED: APR 2, 2011 Great when fresh. Citrus hops on the nose. Big pine and citrus hops on the palate. Adequate malt to handle the hops. Good balance, par for the course for Rogue. Price is just ok.

Bomber from Sonoma Cellars. Pours an orangey-yellow (yellow snow, I get it!). Aroma is pure hop juice; floral, fruity and pine with a bit of that burnt bacon smell. (yum!) Taste is more hops, fruity, floral, bitter - not much malt or alcohol presence. Long bitter finish. Very, very nice!

Hoppy ipa. Good balanced flavor very long bitter finish. Citrus, pine, grapefruit notes. Solid.

Pour is a hazy gold orange, with a somewhat large, slightly off white head with good lacing. Nose is mostly of citrus with some pine undertones. Taste is a nice combination of floral, pine, and citrus.
