Poured from bomber into small yard, fitting color given the name...looks identical, healthy head, light aroma of hop. A bit bright on the palette for my tastes, turns sour. Not one of my favorite Rogues by any means. Glad I got these at a steal of a price.

Poured from a 22 ounce bomber into a Duvel tulip. Appearance: Pours a clear light golden caramel color with orange highlights and a 2 finger fluffy white head. Nice lacing. Smell: Grapefruit and pine with just a bit of orange and a very light hint of sweet bready malt in the background. Taste: Grapefruit up front then a mild bit of sweet malt in the middle before another round of bitter hops at the finish. Aftertaste is bitter pine and lemon zest. Mouthfeel: Medium bodied with a nice amount of carbonation. Drinkability: Good drinkability. You shouldnt have any difficulty finishing a bomber. Overall: Good IPA overall. A solid offering from Rogue that is definitely worth trying.

Big floral aromatics bit of stank...aromatics are the best part of this brew...hops hops hops. Honey notes do come through with air and as it warms. Very green tasting and bitter hop bomb. Pretty good beer if you are in the mood for it. Should say I tasted after Diamond Knot and Laurelhurst IPAs, both much more balanced sweeter IPAs, so my palate may be more sensitive to the bitterness of this guy. Good beer if you just want a one-dimensional hop bomb.

lucent copper, thin white head, full body, medium carbonation.

aroma: piney citrusy hops, caramel malt, bready yeast.

taste: bready caramel malt backbone, with lots of aromatic piney citrusy hops.

Hoppy but balanced, and the amarillo hops are very complex american hops with pine and citrus and floral notes. A good american style ipa.

Bomber pours a cloudy amber brew with a large fluffy white head. Scent is light hops and bread. Taste is light fruit then bready with an earthy finish.

22 oz bomber from Jonathan Ron Briele. Pours a sightly hazed orane/brown with a long lasting average to slightly large foamy of white had that leves some serious lace on my New Belgium tulip. Aroma started off with citus, yellow grapefruit and wet bread notes but with slight warming vegtable, cardboard and cat piss become evident. Medium to slghtly full bodied witha slight creamy yet biter finish and average carbonation. The body is pretty spot on where its filling enough on a chilly November afternoon but also quaffable enough that this would work nice on a hot August day. Flavor is a step up from the aroma with freh hop cones, dry bread crusts, caramel, grains, yellow grapefruit and bitter lemon rind. This is actually pretty darn good considering this is a Rogue beer.

650mL bottle Pours a relatively clear honey gold body with firm white head that persists very well. Resiny hop nose of good intensity; grapefruit and kumquat, freshly mown grass, pine sap, woody spice wtih grainy, honeyish malt background cutting through well. Full bodied, hop resin sticks to side of mouth, nice carbonation and creamy maltiness. Enjoyable and complex body of flavour, good balance of malt and hops; honey, grapefruit, caramel, pine, toasted cereal, unripe apricot and stonefruit. Firm, somewhat aggressive bitterness lingers with grassy hops. Top notch IPA, what youd expect from Rogue. As always hops are very prominant, but I enjoy the underlying malt flavours in this beer in particular.
