Medium yellowish beige lasting head. Deep red body. Syrupy dried fruit and malt aroma with wild berry and toffee notes. Dry-sweet malty roasty taste with spicy light smoke notes. Incredibly clean, distinct palate with a dusty mouthfeel. Dry spicy toffee aftertaste with nutty notes. Very, very nice. (0.5l bottle shared by gr0ve.)

At Pražský Most U Valsů in Prague. A clear dark red/brown colored beer, with a beige head. The aroma of dark caramel, fruits and malt. The taste of dark fruits, like prune and raisins. It’s malty and dry. The aftertaste is a little bitter, and it stays for awhile.

downender (9089) - Bristol, Gloucestershire, ENGLAND - OCT 4, 2008
On tap at Prazsky Most U Valsu, 23/09/08. Dark brown with reddish tones and a big foamy tan head. Aroma of caramel, dark chocolate and a hint of roastiness. Flavour was much the same with a slightly spicy, bitter finish. Good.

500 ml bottle. Deep ruby color, off-white head. Sweet aroma with some dark malts. Chocolaty flavor, medium bitterness, no noticable alcohol. Medium body, smooth mouthfeel. Pretty much what I would expect from a dunkel.

KimJohansen (10498) - Frederiksberg C, DENMARK - AUG 28, 2008
