Rich red in colour with a lovely thickish foam. The beer is is slightly low on aroma, it has some sweetish malty notes but not much more. Its flavour is toasty although slightly sweet, its perfectly sessionable. mithe (1876) - Opava & Brno, CZECH REPUBLIC - OCT 6, 2011

Bottle from Pivovarsky Klub, Prague. Last beer I’ll enjoy on my vacation! Pours brown with a reddish tint and a tan head. Dusty aroma. Bready with some citrus. Flavor is sweet when it first hits the tongue. Bready flavor with a bitter hoppy finish. Hints of coffee. Not bad, but a bit watery. Svesse (8796) - Hässelby, SWEDEN - SEP 11, 2011
(Draught at Prazsky Most U Valsu, Prague, 27 July 2011) Dark reddish brown colour with creamy, beige head. Malty, roasted nose with dark fruit, chocolate and toasted malt. Malty, roasted taste with notes of dark fruit, caramel, chocolate, hints of smoke and a slightly bitter-sweet finish. Medium body, with a certain sweetness. Well balanced and tasty, very drinkable for its strength. Very nice. ElDesmadre (3630) - Mikołów, POLAND - JUL 16, 2011
Bottle. Dark brown with a quickly dissipating head. Aroma is malty, caramelly, toasted, bready and earthy. Taste is roasted, malty, a bit fruity, sweetish but balanced by a nice bitterness, with some metallic elements and a marginal sweetener astringency in the aftertaste. Really good because of the bitterness.
