CapFlu (5132) - Victoria, British Columbia, CANADA - FEB 6, 2006
(Draught) Sampled at the Central New York Brewfest on February 4, 2006. Thin, quick dissipating white head with a cloudy light golden body. Nose of a slightly tonic hoppiness with a blueberry burial. The flavour is light and a tad too unmalted but I guess some may like this as a summer ale by the Rochester waterfront.

Had this at the Flour City Brew Fest. The malt with light hops gave it a decent body. The light Blueberry flavor at the finish was enjoyable.

Website description: A light-bodied, golden ale with a pleasant balance of hops and a hint of natural blueberry. Tasted at Rohrbach’s summer beer festival. Mild blueberry aroma, Lots of blueberries in the palate. Fruity mild dry finish. The fruit beers stood out a bit to me as something different taste wise at the festival.

Growler from January 2005. Hazy gold color, with a small white head which quickly dimished. I found the blueberry flavor to be far more subdued than in other blueberry ales that I have tried. Toasty malts dominated in my opinion, blanced by light hops and blueberry in the finish. Light bodied. A good summertime brew.

shadey (2152) - Nashville, Tennessee, USA - SEP 19, 2004
Tasted at Buffalo Brewfest: A very faint hint of blueberry in the aroma and flavor. Other than that, it was a decent pale ale. The blueberry ale was very popular with the ladies at the brewfest. It was decent, but nothing spectacular.

DYCSoccer17 (3708) - Woodland, California, USA - JUL 10, 2004
Sampled at Empire Brewfest. Blueberries in aroma, but not overpowering unlike most beers like this. Not shabby. Transparent blonde with white head. Hints of blueberry to start, then nice bitter hops backing it up. Sort of watery and bland after that. This has some potential. This isn’t too cloying, just needs a little more help on the backside.

UPDATED: DEC 12, 2008 [growler] Pours a pale golden color with a thin white head. Aroma of freshly baked blueberry muffins. Initial sweet blueberry taste with a very odd followup of dry hops mixed with stale barley. Very unpleasant and dry aftertaste.

Nice pale orange colour, insanely blueberry smell! Great blueberry taste, not much else though! (This rating is from early in November 2002 found on my palm) I'll add more to this later if they have it on tap again!
