Tasted at Buffalo Brewfest: A very faint hint of blueberry in the aroma and flavor. Other than that, it was a decent pale ale. The blueberry ale was very popular with the ladies at the brewfest. It was decent, but nothing spectacular. probstblueribbon (3791) - Nepean, Ontario, CANADA - OCT 25, 2006
Sampled at Real Beer Expo (Rochester). Bright golden with a decent white head that doesn’t last. plenty of blueberry and a little malt on the nose. Blueberry up front with a peppery(?) finish. Med. low carbonation, med. body and some astringency. DeadGirl (478) - San Diego, California, USA - JUN 14, 2009
UPDATED: FEB 26, 2010 Growler from Beers of the World in Rochester, NY: Hazy golden hue. The blueberry flavor is intense, but in no way tastes like cough syrup. There’s a distinct touch of honey and sourness to it. Overall a wonderful beer. Great coupled with floating blueberries on top (served on tap at Magnolia’s on Park Ave. in Rochester, NY). #020 on 06142009, DG. ElJefe (553) - Rochester, New York, USA - JAN 27, 2005
Growler from January 2005. Hazy gold color, with a small white head which quickly dimished. I found the blueberry flavor to be far more subdued than in other blueberry ales that I have tried. Toasty malts dominated in my opinion, blanced by light hops and blueberry in the finish. Light bodied. A good summertime brew. Ron (3957) - Rochester, New York, USA - AUG 10, 2005
Had this at the Flour City Brew Fest. The malt with light hops gave it a decent body. The light Blueberry flavor at the finish was enjoyable.

5 oz draught sample at the brewpub, mid-October 2006. Pale clear gold with a thin ring of lasting head, no lacing....fresh, faintly tart/acidic blueberry skins dominate the aroma, light underlying pale malt, a touch of honey and sharp grasses....nicely integrated fruit and pale malt character on the tongue, hints of sweet/sour cherries as well as a bit of dry woodiness....gets lightly bitter/hoppy towards finish, some mineral salts, moderate to high carbonation. Not bad. DYCSoccer17 (3697) - Woodland, California, USA - JUL 10, 2004
Sampled at Empire Brewfest. Blueberries in aroma, but not overpowering unlike most beers like this. Not shabby. Transparent blonde with white head. Hints of blueberry to start, then nice bitter hops backing it up. Sort of watery and bland after that. This has some potential. This isn’t too cloying, just needs a little more help on the backside. Lightly hazy blonde with a pleasant blueberry aroma. Light malt and subtil blueberry note. Light bodied. refreshing. Tap. CNY Brewfest Feb. 5 2005. joeycapps (1468) - Waterdown, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 4, 2003
Slightly hazy gold w/ tan head. Blueberry aroma w/ white pepper & caramel in the background. Soft, medium body. Spicy, almost flowery, flavour. Blueberries are evident, coming through mostly in the finish.
