3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Growler fill at Railroad - Golden color with tan head and nice lace. Nose is hops-forward, palate has a spicy snap and sufficient malt to withstand the hops. The only drawback was the alpha whack that arrives at the end, which I attribute to the wet hopping. A solid, solid ale.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours a deep amber color with nice head and nice lacing. The taste is dominated by spicy hops both aromatic floral (pine tree) and bitter ending. Not a bad beer. Thicker than other harvests that I have had.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Orange/burnt sienna appearance. Fairly standard beer but a well done one. Loved the balance of the sweet malt and the biting hops.

Rohrbach Harvest Ale is a clear, amber ale with a thin off white head that leaves decent lacing on the glass. It has an aroma that’s grassy with some wood resin... peppery, botanical and a touch sweet. It has a huge, resiny flavor. It’s quite bitter. The aftertaste is long and bitter and green, with notes of juniper and wood resin. It’s solid. It reminds me of a red ale.
