Tap at the brewpub.
Mostly clear golden almost color with a decent white head. Some bready pilsner comes through as well as a touch of fruitiness and light floral and spice. I think I get a touch of butterscotch but its not enough to distract too much. Decent lager. sinfull (1728) - Brooklyn, New York, USA - NOV 8, 2015
Amber color . Medium-sized, white head . Aroma of caramel malt and floral hops. Sweet , malty taste with light , hoppy bitterness. Decent lager. KyotoLefty (10531) - Kyoto, JAPAN - SEP 4, 2014
Tap at the brewery tasting room. Pretty orange-amber color with a fine head. Nose or caramel, earth, and light apricots. rich malt flavor, earthy hops. Decent. Not exciting but highly drinkable. maxwellboltzma (3) - North Carolina, USA - JUL 26, 2012 does not count
Some have compared it to sam adams lager. I feel its a little bit more malty with a little bit more after taste. Good. MacBoost (1924) - Victor, New York, USA - APR 8, 2012
Pours a deep amber with little to no head, from a growler acquired from Wegmans, Penfield. Notes of caramel and spicy hops in the aroma. Taste is slightly sweet, malty and lightly bitter. This is much better than I expected.

Sample and eventual growler at Railroad St - Looking at the ratings I’m surprised this didn’t score higher. I literally got one of the first pours out of the first keg of the most recent batch, couldn’t be fresher. This probably made the difference. Wood like a Bock, not too much, and enough malt strength to make me question the lager part. Crystal clear, nice lace, some head. RickTStiles (826) - Houston, Texas, USA - NOV 20, 2009
On tap at the Straathallen Hotel. Not bad. Crisp, refreshing, a bit fruity and overall satisfying and easy to drink. Wont change your life but it goes down smooth. decaturstevo (6342) - decatur, Tennessee, USA - SEP 23, 2008
Light amber pour with off white head and lace. Malt and almost bourbon-barrell aroma. Medium malt with a bit of an off bitter. Thin and foamy not really special but pretty solid. McGarnigle (653) - Rochester, New York, USA - AUG 7, 2008
Draft at ballgame. Served headless. Seemed fairly fresh. Colorful body, highly fizzed and light bodied. Some caramel malts, slender hops. Slightly metallic. Pretty good lager. blipp (9502) - La Mesa, California, USA - MAY 9, 2008
