3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Growler from the pub. Pours nice amber capped by a off white foam head. Plenty of sticky lacing on the side of the glass. Nose is pure hop resin, mostly pine. Taste is well balanced, almost under balanced for an IPA. Caramel and pale malt mold well this the pine and citrus. Plenty of late addition hops here. Perhaps a copious amount of dry hop too.
Tap at the brewpub.
Mostly clear deep golden color with a stingy white head. Citrus and pine with some bready caramel malt behind it. Pretty old school a bit sweet. FROTHINGSLOSH (7879) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 26, 2016
Sampled from a 16 oz can this beer poured a hazy bronze color with a huge creamy-soapy orange-white head that lingered and left a bit of lacing. The aroma was gritty and leafy floral hops and sour caramel. The flavor was sour caramel, tobacco and leafy floral hops with a moderate bitterness. Medium length finish. Medium body. Ok. Poured into a pint glass from a 16oz tallboy.
3.25 A: Nearly clear light orange color. Three full fingers of foamy white head. Retention is about average and lots of spotty lacing is left.
3.75 S: Dank resiny hoppiness with some grassy and earthy undertones. Caramel malts, a touch of breadiness, but clean overall. Really nice hop forward aroma.
3.75 T: Tastes like it smells. Resiny, grassy, and earthy hops. Plenty of hop flavor. Moderate bitterness. Malts are lightly bready with hints of caramel and toastiness. Well balanced and quite tasty.
3.5 M: Medium body. Good moderate carbonation. Lightly creamy with a mild bitter aftertaste.
4.0 D: Solid brew. I bumped the drinkability score because some of the other scores were borderline.

Some sort of conatiner, pretty sure it was a can, I think, shared at Spellbound with jcwatts. Poured a hazed amber with a smaller foamy creamy white head. Aroma of caramel malts, wort, sweet citrus, dough. Flavor of tonic water, limes, bread, orange marmalade topped toast. Body is a bit watery, fizzy carbonation, quicker fading aftertaste. Meh. Pale golden pour. Slight haze. Very brightly citrusy aroma. Some white
pepper and a little bit of sweet malt. Assertively bittered but with
lots of citrusy hop character. Lean bodied, dry but tropical. Fruit
and citrus. Nice solid IPA

Can (and judging by the last rate it must have been an old one). Pours a nice cloudy amber with a thick fluffy white head. Aroma was on the weaker side, but hints of stale hops and sweet malts. Flavor has some garlic, light citrus, caramel, and sugars. Body felt light and texture was pretty thin. Carbonation was below average. Pretty smooth finish. It drank really easily, but the aroma and flavor just weren’t cutting it. I’ll try to seek out a fresh can and maybe update this. Unless this was fresh then I’ll just avoid it. From a 16oz pint can. Citrusy hop aroma with roasted malt. Taste is citrus hops, malty but not overly malty and a bitter dry finish. Nice easy drinking ipa. Nothing mind blowing about it, but also nothing I can really say bad about it. Maybe a bit too bitter of a finish, but a solid drinkable flavorful ipa. The more I drink the more the bitter finish detracts and almost a slight malt extract feel to it. Still solid, but an average ipa. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone miyauchi38 (1096) - chicago, Illinois, USA - NOV 1, 2014

Tap at the brewery tasting room. Bright, cloudy gold with orange tints. Nose is citrus--grapefruit, with grass and minerals. Sweet biscuits and citrus flavor, orange and grapefruit, grass and a bit of catpiss. Crisp and nicely hopped. generallee08 (773) - New York, USA - AUG 29, 2014
Presentation: It was poured from my growler into a tulip glass. The growler was filled at the brewery.
Appearance: The body has a golden or light amber color with a cloudy tan haze. A one inch collar of off white foam builds up from the pour and quickly fades to a small ring. A few spots of lace cling to the edge of the glass.
Smell: In the nose I pick up lots of citrus zesty hops over pale grain and lightly roasted malt.
Taste/Palate: On the tongue there is a big bite of hop bitterness with big citrus (grapefruit/lime/touch of lemon) and herbal leafy notes. In the middle there is a dank mix of bitterness and sweetness that moves in with some light toasted notes and light brown sugary notes. Overall hop bitterness dominates and slowly fades long into the finish. The palate has a firm full feel with light carbonation.
