On tap during a tasting session at Foersters Feine Biere. Firm off-white head to a next-to-clear amber coloured body. Clingy lacing. Mid-sweet malt-fruity aroma. A bit jam-like taste with toffee and dried fruits. Hints of bitterness to the ending. Medium bodied. Satisfying. (Berlin 11.01.2018). jonas (8759) - Garching b. München, GERMANY - DEC 22, 2017

(Draught at Foersters Feine Biere, Berlin, 24 Aug 2017) Reddish amber colour with rocky, off-white head. Malty nose with notes of crisp-bread, toast and some orange peel. Malty taste with bread, ryvita, some orange peel and a mild spicy bitterness. Medium body, with a touch of sweetness. Well balanced, but a bit shy. Enjoyable.

On tap at Foerstiger Feine Biere. Light malty and bready smell. Similar taste. Clean and drinkable but not that exciting. Lacks something. The_Osprey (10133) - Richmond, Greater London, ENGLAND - SEP 10, 2016
Keg at Prachtwerk cafe, Neukolln. As ’Privatbrauerei am Rollberg Rot’. Brewed locally. Dark orange, hazy, sparkling, foamy tan head. Aroma is honey, demerara, toffeeish, light passionfruit. Body is light, spritzy carbonation, bit frothy. Taste is sodawater, light toffee sweetness, some tangerine. Cold and fizzy. Quite decent for style. Teresa’s found her favourite beer style. Pity it’s a rare one. popiela (1073) - Poznañ, POLAND - AUG 4, 2016
Ładna piana, oblepia szkło. Aromat bez szału, słodowy, delikatny. W smaku świetna chlebowość, trochę karmelu, wysoka pełnia. Umiarkowane nasycenie. Goryczka niska. heavy (2932) - Split, CROATIA - JAN 21, 2016
Apr ’15. On tap at the brewpub. Plato 12,5°, 5,2% ABV at the time. It poured a clear copper colored body with medium sized head. Lightly hoppy aroma with caramel and other toasted malt. Flavor was balanced between lightly sour unpasteurized hops and toasted malt, especially that caramel. Not really complex and also rather watery. Medium to thin in body with shorter and caramel-driven finish. Felt lower in alcohol content. Nothing wrong here, but it should have been richer.
