3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pour is a very dark brown with a small tan head. Aroma is a rich chocolate with some roasted nuts and a sweet maple syrup. Flavor is molasses with some brown sugar and a thick sweet syrup. Wow cats and dogs this beer is sweet. No sign of the alcohol as it’s covered up by the sweetness. I commend them for doing something different with a brown ale but this is a bit too sweet for me.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
22 oz bomber into a tulip glass. Thanks match112! Pours a deep brown with a finger of sticky light khaki foam. Nose is caramel and toffee with some ash and mineral water. As it warms up the maple starts to seep in and get really sweet and heavy. Subtle dark fruit, marshmallow and tobacco. Taste is toffee and dark fruits with an ashy finish. Maple begins to explode the longer it sits. Very nutty and sweet with a slightly bitter finish. Really impressive brown with the maple coming across really well.

This was courtesy of Strykzone. It poured dark brown with a very robust beige head and moderate lacing. The nose is roasted malts and maple. Medium body. Smooth creamy mouthfeel. The flavor is rich with maple ad chocolate. The finish is sweet. Alcohol well hidden. Really tasty and one of the best browns ever for me.

Draft. Deep brown body with amber highlights. Tan head. Aroma of sweet malts, toasted grain alcohol, cocoa, maple. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly to moderately sweet and lightly bitter, finishing with hot alcohol. Medium body, velvety texture and lively carbonation. Sweet syrup taste along followed by lingering bitterness and peppery alcohol notes, though not enough to overpower the flavors. Enjoyable.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
22 oz. bomber. This beer pours a dark brown pour with a medium tan head on top. Aroma of brown sugar, maple syrup, chocolate and caramel. Flavor is rich, mild brown sugar and caramel notes balanced by some hop bitterness and a touch of alcohol. Medium to full bodied. The remarkable thing is that there is no hint of the high ABV. This is a big beer you don’t realize is a big beer until your glass is gone.
