When I hit the indie-rock bar in Detroit, I always get the Rolling Rock. This is an American beer I do enjoy. Spring water-like taste, barely an aftertaste, slight hops, nice to slug back and easy on the throat. Enjoyable. iriggs99 (4) - Connecticut, USA - DEC 3, 2001 does not count
I can handle most light (chugging) beers, but this stuff tastes as close as I will ever come to drinking pee. There’s rice in it for God’s sake. ted99 (10) - USA - DEC 2, 2001
good cheap beer..one of the best for the money. noer1 (109) - Massachusetts, USA - DEC 1, 2001
freezes in a cold refrigerator (since it is water, and tastes like water) StevieMSU (64) - Kentucky, USA - DEC 1, 2001
Great beer, easy to drink and goes down well, not a bad price either..all around a great beer.

not bad really...it has a slightly ’burned’ taste, which reminds me of Staropramen and Urquell....but for some reason that quality seems to be a positive only in Urquell Beloved Beer (278) - California, USA - NOV 30, 2001
I thought this stuff to be a bit thin and tasteless. Didn’t do much for my taste buds. It smelled really skunky from the moment I opened the bottle. Which may mean I got a bad bottle. However, the taste wasn’t bad as in the bottle went bad it just plain tasted well not so enjoyable. Could be worse, but won’t buy again. blair99 (1) - USA - NOV 30, 2001 does not count
This is my no fear beer! Not the best beer in the world but if you want to be safe, this is it. achtungpv (264) - Austin, Texas, USA - NOV 27, 2001
Slightly less flavor than tap water.

Tastes like it was brewed with my old gym socks. Thinking of drinking it? ABORT. Go get some cheaper MGD or Bud. Those who claim to like this beer should seriously consider having their nuts reattached.
