Bottle; Harsh and unimaginative with a metallic bitter taste. I guess theres a reason college students buy kegs of this stuff.

04-NOV-2016, bottle @Camilla&Morten. Very pale, low white head. Citrus and not a lot more. Very thin, medium carbonation, very little bitterness. But as a thirst quencher this works really well. Had this ice cold and it was satisfying.

A sweet grain aroma with a hint of wet hay, pours a clear gold color light carbonation with a short lasting white head. A sweet corn taste with a hint of hay. A light body and a mild bitter hops finish.

[email protected] St. Pierre in New Orleans in plastic [email protected] 5 degrees. Pours light yellow with medium white head with ok retention. Aroma of malt, corn and a little sweetness. Taste again of corn and sweet grains with a definite hint of honey at the end, leading into the malty, honey aftertaste. Watery texture and without the honey, this would have been utterly forgettable, now I quite liked it.

This was much better when just a local brewery in PA. This was the go to beer when out for the night. As soon as the brewery moved, there was a definite taste difference that was not as good. Color and such stayed the same, but taste went downhill.

On tap. Pours a clear pale gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has notes of straw, grains and a bit of egg. Flavor has more grains and straw with earthy grass backing.

Bierdimpfe (530) - Quebec, CANADA - SEP 17, 2016
Bright pale straw with snowy activity. Weak white 1 finger head, lasting around 5-10 minutes, with faint legs. Flavors of sweet grains and corn, faint skunky and hoppy. Very sweet and syrupy. Slick medium body with prickly carbonation. Light finish, slightly dry, lingering sugary grainy tongue feel. Overall badly crafted, a little adjunct but less than the norm, faint flavors yet drinkable in a hot day for the freshness. Overly accessible.

Drives me nuts that they print that Old Latrobe thing on the bottles - they havent made it there for years! This decent example of regular beer really took a turn south when purchased by InBev.

cmacklin (923) - Lethbridge, Alberta, CANADA - AUG 21, 2016
On tap. Pours a clear pale yellow with a small, frothy, long lasting, white head that laces. Faint aroma of bready malt, corn and a hint of fruit. Sweet flavour of corn, biscuit and light grass with a crisp, dry, mildly bitter finish. Light body with a watery texture and fizzy carbonation. Refreshing, but no better or worse than any other macro out there.

25 oz. can. Pours a medium light white head, over an effervescent straw (SRM 2) body......nose is mild malts with bread, biscuit, corn, no hops or esters......taste is lightly sweet, with corn, hints of malts, finishing with hints of hops, balanced........mouth feel, light body, no alcohol, high carbonation with a hint of acid. This beer overall has just a bit more aroma and flavor than water. It is utterly insipid. BJCP 6/3/12/4/6
