1.2 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 2/20
Very, very disappointing. Rolling Rock was an American classic, with its own particular flavor and aroma. Maybe you liked it, maybe you didn’t, but you knew that it was Rolling Rock. Now the boys at AB have finished that and are simply putting their rice beer into a green bottle with no regard for the heritage of the product whatsoever. RIP Rolling Rock!
12oz can in New York. Fizzy yellow generic lager. Corn syrup in abundance, but OK if it’s cold enough gripweed57 (2452) - Hamilton Square, New Jersey, USA - JUL 7, 2017
From old tasting notes when it was brewed in Latrobe, PA. Clear pale gold color with a foamy white head and lots of big bubbles. Light malty aroma has a wisp of sour hops. Upfront, tangy, dry and grainy malt. Middle is light grassy hops. Finish is faintly bitter nd brief. Grainy notes and somewhat fruity. An excellent hot weather brew. Can. Clear yellow body, big white head with good retention and lots of lacing. Aroma of grains, rice, corn, herbs and mineral water. Medicinal taste of rice, grains, some herbs and plastic. On the watery side. bulldogp04 (28) - Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA - JUN 7, 2017
Tastes like an extra pale rock that was once rolling but now is not - really wish this small brewery would produce more of this style - I really dig it while I am eating a brewmasters platter of durian fruit and Limburger cheese - helps enhance the aromatics and flavor of both.

In can. At first I couldn’t really taste much. Just a general light lager profile but then after a few more tastes this gross, stale, somewhat bitter flavor dominated the finish & ruined any sort of experience I might have been having. Not sweet corn at all, maybe stale corn. datfanman (4) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - MAY 21, 2017 does not count
Are you poor? Do you and your friends only have $20 and also want to buy a Little Caesars pizza? Then buy Rolling Rock. Nuff said.
