It was beer and it was drinkable. Nothing special though. austinpowers (2828) - New York, New York, USA - OCT 19, 2002
Tasting this head-to-head against other lite beers, the Rolling Rock Light comes across as waterier than some of the others. There’s a slightly "off" smell, too. MrBeer (276) - Erie, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 8, 2002
UPDATED: SEP 4, 2006 well there is basically no taste to it, it goes down like water Slovak34 (99) - Raleigh, North Carolina, USA - SEP 25, 2002
Goes down nice and smooth. It might be too light. It somewhat tastes like water. savitska (163) - Smyrna, Georgia, USA - SEP 3, 2002
Like Rolling Rock cut with 8 oz. of water.

Not bad at all. Why do Rolling Rock and Rock Light smell like raw sewage? Tastes crisp despite farty undertones. I would buy this, no problem. Goes down clean. DEbeer (192) - West Virginia, USA - JUL 24, 2002
I really don’t find this too offensive at all. It is pretty much like drinking water. It is hot outside, so a beer with nothing to it isn’t so bad as a way to cool off. wdfod99 (4) - Idaho, USA - JUL 6, 2002 does not count
Usually skunky and has a tinny finish. Effervesence, what effervesence? jpm8920 (152) - Park Ridge, New Jersey, USA - JUN 5, 2002
just another light beer P-tor44 (886) - Anchorage, Alaska, USA - JUN 3, 2002
as if Rolling Rock wasn’t light enough. This was the only beer they had this weekend at my Dads Harvard reunion. You’d expect them being a halfway decent school to at least have a decent beer. Needless to say I was on the phone the whole time trying to get my friend from Glaucester to pick me up and get me the fuck out of there. It couldn’t have come to soon. I hope to never see this horrible beverage again.
