This beer is simply awful. Terrible all around: skunky smell and taste, nothing for appearance, mouthfeel (gag!!!), and very undrinkable. I'd rather drink nothing than have a Rolling Rock Light. Why, oh why, do people like this beer? Answer: people are sheep and buy into advertisement. Sham (1844) - Seattle, Washington, USA - JAN 29, 2004
Pours a very light yellow, almost urine like in appearence. A foamy white head that leaves just a tad of lacing. Hello, aroma? Very light hops in the nose, barely detectable. Small malts in the flavor with a nibble of hops for the finish. Watery palate, thin body. Nothing impressive, but hey what can you expect? Turtboy (120) - Lucasville, Ohio, USA - JAN 12, 2004
Rolling rock is a light beer, why make a light version of a beer that already taste like water. These light beers need to be stopped. hopscotch (11182) - Vero Beach, Florida, USA - DEC 23, 2003
Tastes more like Michelob Ultra than Michelob Ultra does!................... TheBeerGenius (154) - Pittsburgh, PA, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 9, 2003
The way I look at this beer is you love it or hate it. It has a strange distinguishable taste, kinda wheaty tasty. I actually have developed a taste for it and enjoy it.

Rolling Rock is one of my favorites, but the light version just doesn't cut it... not enough flavor garrison (812) - Cin. city, Ohio, USA - AUG 22, 2003
Ugh, it's light version of an already light beer! There's not to recommend this one... yeah, it's even more forgettable than m9ost American Standards. igneous1 (1538) - Davenport, Iowa, USA - AUG 14, 2003
light golden color with a rocky short-lived head. nothing in the aroma and just a hair of sour/bubblegum in the flavor. this is BARELY a step above a bud light or coors light, etc. Wakie (612) - Centreville, Virginia, USA - JUL 16, 2003
Well ... someone has to take this title, king of the American Lights. Very easy drinking. A bit watery but really not too bad. This is one of those beers you can actually probably drink a case of.
