Still pretty generic as far as beers go, but at least now RR has an option where you can get watery caramel malt flavouring instead of watery corn. Marginally the best of Rolling Rock?s bland and tasteless offerings which really isn?t saying a lot slowrunner77 (12466) - Reno, Nevada, USA - OCT 15, 2014
originally rated 2008(?):
worlds better than the other RR beers I’ve had (in that I don’t MIND finishing). Some malt descernable, not much in the way of hops. Also not skunky, so that’s a plus. BDawg82 (74) - Jackson, Mississippi, USA - JAN 29, 2011
Is this still available? I cannot find it in my local market these day (will trade for something you cannot find in your neck of the woods if you still have it) but it was pretty good in my humble opinion. Very skillfully balanced lager hops with somethin’ else malts. I really didn’t expect much but it was truely enjoyable, although lacking much aroma and a mediocre texture. Drink ’em if you got ’em! Bottle: Generously given to me by jcwattsrugger, thanks! Pours a still copper topped by a fading off white film. Very sweet aroma, yet vague- some brown sugar, rice, and nondescript watery/sugary maltose. Fizzy vacant body. Sugary flavor with a typical macro flavor. Some sugary grains (maltose) and a watered down sweet raisiny note. No hop character is detectable. Extremely macro, sweet, and vague. ronaldtheriot (1964) - Laplace, Louisiana, USA - JUN 15, 2009
Better than the regular Rolling Rock, because it does have some bite. But, it’s nothing super. I tried it, and that’s that. I have no plans to ever buy this product again. Please note that I didn’t hate it, though.

decaturstevo’s Febmergency Tasting. Sample from a bottle thanks to decaturstevo. Light orange-red with a quick fizzy white head. Thin malty aroma, taste is lightly nutty and sweet. decaturstevo (6339) - decatur, Tennessee, USA - FEB 9, 2009
Copper pour with creamy white head and lace. Light caramel and sweet corn. Sweet to a fault flavor with a sour twang at the end. Slick and cloying mouthfeel. Not a really bad beer just well you know. tronraner (2459) - Walland, Tennessee, USA - FEB 8, 2009
Bottle at the Febmergency tasting. Now this here was a gem. Pours nice amber/copper with small off-white head. The aroma is caramel, corn, a certain spice I can’t place, toast, and iced tea. The flavor is corn, caramel, zest, and some carbonic acid. A little bit of candyish sugar comes through from time to time. Good effort, but... SpringsLicker (3660) - Tennessee, USA - FEB 8, 2009
Thanks to decaturstevo for sharing this one at his Februmergency Tasting.
This clear dark amber with an average sized off-white head.
Sweet, slightly medicinal aroma and flavor with a touch of band-aid.

Bottle at decaturstevo’s Februmergency Tasting for those of us that missed out on Sexual Chocolate ’09. Pours a nice clear amber with thin layer of light tan head. Nose of apples, some iced tea notes. Flavors of caramel, corn, and sweet malt. Fair I suppose.
