Full bodied, decent chocolatey character, malty. A touch sweet, but never cloying. Not my favorite style, but decently executed.
On tap at Beer Keyaki Spring 2014. A nice dark beer with a thick tan head that dissipates & clings to the glass. Sweet chocolatey aroma. Medium to full bodied with a creamy mouthfeel. The taste is bitter chocolate with a bit of a tang. Nice. shoulderbroken (4255) - Tokyo, JAPAN - MAY 14, 2014
Bottle. Bit smoky and spicy aroma, chocolate. Taste is good. Choc, bit of spice, roast. Bit sweet. Decent. I was roasted myself when I had this.

Light bodied though tasty export stout. Coffee, chocolate, toffee, smooth body roasty dry finish. No dips or valleys, but straight forward and very drinkable. KyotoLefty (10603) - Kyoto, JAPAN - JAN 14, 2013
