Formerly known as "Ronen HaHodit HaMekhoeret India Pale Ale" (Ronen The Ugly Indian).

Golden colour with thin head. Aroma and flavour have lots of perfumed, candied fruits. Piney hops. Loses a bit of flavour intensity in the finish.

Kind of sweet strong taste with lot’s of different flavor which somehow doesn’t quite come together for me

0,33l bottle at home from trade with tomer, big thanks. BB 10/09/16. Drunk 12/may/2016. amber clear color, medium big off-white / yellowish head. smells of lemon grass, lychee, herbal, light bready, ripe fruits. nice smell. full body, soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes of lemon grass, thyme, herbal, some sweetness, resin, bit soapy, rosemary. finishes lightly bitter with lemon grass, thyme and other herbs. overall good one, enjoyable, rather on the herbal side and hops are a bit oldish, but still quite enjoyable.

Bottle. Big Thanks to Tomer. Dark Amber nearly brown body with tan fast disappearing head. Aroma is fruity, malty with some dark caramel in the background. Taste is nearly the same but with additional biscuits and pines. Aftertaste is nice bitter slightly balanced by some malty sweetness. Nice one.

This one grew on me. Starts out tasting a little funky, but then I began to appreciate the sweet citrus flavor and nicely balanced bitter finish.

Grumbo (3489) - Ipswich, Suffolk, ENGLAND - JAN 13, 2016
Bottle received in a trade with Keren. Pours a golden brown colour with a lasting cream colour head. Aroma of hop, malt, caramel, with notes of banana and raisin. Quite high level of bitterness over a light sweetness. Medium body. Average carbonation. Finish has a lingering bitterness accompanied with caramel and treacle. Best beer I’ve tried from Israel (though to be fair this is only the 4th).
