Tasting at Matt’s
Dark brown color, near black; large beige head. Clearly infected, dusty, very dry, a bit roasty, with some sourness. Metallic finish.
Bad.

330ml bottle @ Matt’s. Pours an opaque brown with a small off-white head. Nose is light chocolate and some toasted malt. Flavour is off, weird burnt plastic character with a maltyness. I’m pretty sure this is infected.

Medium chestnut with a thin head. The aroma is not happening...just sort of musty, brown malts but nothing really rocking. Thin, infected...sort of dirt-tasting. Sorry, this just didn’t work out.

330mL bottle, pours a deep dark brown with a small beige head. Aroma brings out plastic and burnt rubber, light dry cocoa and toasted malt. Flavour is nasty, with all sorts of burnt rubber, plastic and band-aid notes that drown out anything else that might be present underneath. Infected and not drinkable.

In short: acid dark ale. Pours very dark with nice off white head. Dark malts, little tart, some malty sweet. More into the sweet side.
