COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Lots of people said to us we should make a lower alcohol beer, a more easy drinking session-like beer. We at Rooie Dop agreed and made a promise. Here it is: The 24/7 Session Ale! This member of the Rooie Dop family is clean and very hoppy. Saaz hops from the old world balancing out the epic Citra hops from the new world. A beer with less than 5% alcohol, session drinking all day long!

33 cl bottle from De Bierkoning @ home. Golden to orange color, a bit hazy. White head, quickly disappearing, with just a thin layer retention. Aromas: fresh hops, herbal, citrus, a hint of sourness, little malt. Some sourness retronasal as well, not sure if that was intentional. Flavor is light bitter with some grain & malty sweetness. Light bodied, but not too thin. Finishes with moderate bitterness that pleasantly lingers on. Lovely on this Summer day.

TET (2933) - Kaarina, FINLAND - JUL 12, 2013
A fuzzy, orange beer, a gently poured only a weak and blond head. A nose is pleasant, fruitful and tropical, mangos, some lychee, also balanced fructose and wet pine forest. Taste is medium bitter and tropical fruity, lychee, peaches, some sour grapefruits, and pine needles. The end is dry and bitter. Almost medium bodied, fresh to drink. Nice, tropical beer, unfortunately, the best freshness is missing.

Bottle at the Mill, Cambridge. Golden brown, mostly clear with a white head. Resinous aroma with a hint of plastic. Malty sweetish taste. This is a decent enough beer but ultimately underwhelming. I was hoping for more character and was left wanting. Still, better than many beers, and drinkable enough.

Bottle. Moderate roasted and caramel for the malt, moderate herbs for the hops, light dough for the yeast, with notes of dried fruits and nutmeg. Head is large, frothy turning into a rocky raft, with excellent lacing and is fully lasting. Color is muddy dark amber/tan. Flavor starts slightly sweet and moderately acidic, then finishes lightly acidic and bitter. Palate is medium, slick with a lively carbonation. Not a bad beer, solid IPA flavors but the the aromas are just so so.
