COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Lots of people said to us we should make a lower alcohol beer, a more easy drinking session-like beer. We at Rooie Dop agreed and made a promise. Here it is: The 24/7 Session Ale! This member of the Rooie Dop family is clean and very hoppy. Saaz hops from the old world balancing out the epic Citra hops from the new world. A beer with less than 5% alcohol, session drinking all day long!

Pours a muddy amber color with a tan head. The smell is tart fruit, green hops. Taste is mild caramel, green hops, fruit. The body is light, with soft carbonation.

CloakedDagger (2951) - - JUL 1, 2014
Bottle 33 cl. Pours a hazy amber with an off-white head. Sweet caramel aroma - very little hop presence. Medium body, heavy carbonation, some phenols, again caramel dominating with a rather simple, crude bitterness in the finish. Totally lacks hop freshness and crispiness. This comes out as a rather bland Amber Ale with a rough hopping. 010714

Bottle. Moderate roasted and caramel for the malt, moderate herbs for the hops, light dough for the yeast, with notes of dried fruits and nutmeg. Head is large, frothy turning into a rocky raft, with excellent lacing and is fully lasting. Color is muddy dark amber/tan. Flavor starts slightly sweet and moderately acidic, then finishes lightly acidic and bitter. Palate is medium, slick with a lively carbonation. Not a bad beer, solid IPA flavors but the the aromas are just so so.

33cl bottle @ home. Hazy orange copper color, quite strong off-white head. Aroma cannabis, citrus, hops, caramel in the nose, grapefruit, green tea, herbs flavor with roasty notes. Good combination, good balance. Taste light sweetness, medium medicine bitterness, sour notes. Medium to full body but somehow watery in the same time, slightly creamy and sticky texture, lively carbonation, fine light bitter finish which is quite durable and makes a good mouthfeel. Fine refreshing light IPA.

Bottle 33 cl. Appearance: A hazy amber with a good off-white head, leaving some lacing. Aroma: . Sweet caramel, with some Grapefruit and Mango. Taste: Sweet caramel followed by some tropical frui and a bitter finish wih some pine. The finish however has the biterness. However halfway the bottle the backbone starts tasting this sweet low alcohol malt drinkish like. thin to medium body, above average carbonation, (slightly lower would be better.) Good attempt, but a bit flawed for me.

Great session ale, burp..

Rating #1434 - 12.01.2015 - Bottle from CBI. Yellowish pour with a bubbly, lasting white foam. Aroma is sweet citrusy, tangerine notes, mild grassiness.Taste is light citrus and pine sweetness, tempered by a tame hoppy bitterness. Medium bodied, mild alcohol warmth, and very well balanced. Crushable.

From tap. Hazy orange, white head. Aroma of green apple, some hoppy notes present. In taste mainly green apple, some malty sweetness, medium bitterness. Obviously something went wrong here.
