COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Lots of people said to us we should make a lower alcohol beer, a more easy drinking session-like beer. We at Rooie Dop agreed and made a promise. Here it is: The 24/7 Session Ale! This member of the Rooie Dop family is clean and very hoppy. Saaz hops from the old world balancing out the epic Citra hops from the new world. A beer with less than 5% alcohol, session drinking all day long!

Bottle. Hazy orange gold with a large rocky foam. Aromas are yeasty lemon with oranges and yeast. Mellow pine with nutty notes and light honey. Flavours are grain and honey with green pine and yeast. Woody with pithy grapefruit. Good.

330ml bottle shared with jeevan. Cheers! Pours murky orange, floaters, nice head and lacing though. Aromas of citrus and resin. Taste is bitter. One dimensional, but ok.

Bottle, no best-before or bootled-on date, but Iím guessing it ainít at its freshest state! Hazy Amber orange with a very lively off white head. Caramel malt, very fruity hop character (peaches, ripe mango) with spicy undertones. Still nice, even though itís malted out.

Draught at Borefts, 2013. Nose of peaches, mango, passion fruit, orange. Mineral flavor, fruity, nice bitterness. Good full body. Good.

33 cl bottle.
Pours hazy amber color with a large head. Lots of resinous hops on the nose, caramel malts too, I would have guessed this as a DIPA from the aroma if tasted blind, some grapefruits, pine needles and grainy notes can be found too. Resinous hops again on the flavor, caramel, sweet fruity notes and wood. Strong carbonation, bitter malty finish. Lots of flavor here but somehow itís not that pleasant for me, maybe too resinous or something.

Draft at the doerak beer festival. Thin creamy white head. Hazy blond pour. Lovely citrus hoppiness. Nice session beer.

UFO-riddled bottle, raising a tower of dense, fine, yellow head, slowly giving birth to orange gold-to-copper, very finely and lively carbonated, but strangely enough near clear beer. C-hop aroma, but also cookies, even liquorice. Exotic fruit syrup, rosewater concentrate - smelling pretty sweet. Toasted and hopbitter, but with a really syrupy-sweet undercurrent. Fruit dried fruit on cake, liquorice, bitter spices. Very slightly sticky, well-carbonated, light to medium bodied. Hoppy bitterness in the aftertaste. Somehow, it doesnít convince me - thereís just too much sweet malts for its intended purpose. Which does not make it a bad beer, mind!

Draft sample @ Tilburg Bierfestival 2013 & 33 cl. bottle @ home purchased @ De Molen. Review is for the bottle. Bottled on 29/05/2013. Murky bright peach orange, almost no head. Nose is heavy on mango & passion fruit, very, almost sweetish fruity hop notes, light grapefruit, touches of marmalade and candy sugar. Mango, grapefruit taste, pineapple, pine, passion fruit, tropical fruits, citrus, caramel, taste is a bit less outspoken than I hoped for after the smell but still wonderful. Very easy to drink, light, could indeed drink this 24/7.

Skinnyviking (9550) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - NOV 19, 2014
Bottle at home. High fluffy and long lasting white head. Hazy amber orange body. Dusty straw bisquit aroma. Mildly hopped and yet quite tasty orange lemon flavor with low carbonation and a surprisingly long finish. Well done.

28/XII/13 - 33cl bottle from Biernavigatie (webshop, NL) @ home - bottled: 19/IX/13 (2013-1190)

Little hazy orange beer, big irregular yellowish head, unstable, bit adhesive. Aroma: very fruity, pineapple, citrus, bit of band-aid, grassy. MF: ok carbon, medium to light body. Taste: lots of citrus, lemony, little bitter, sourish touch, watery impression. Aftertaste: pretty bitter, grapefruit, lemon juice, sourish, watery touch, soft malty sweetness but only if you look for it.
