COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Lots of people said to us we should make a lower alcohol beer, a more easy drinking session-like beer. We at Rooie Dop agreed and made a promise. Here it is: The 24/7 Session Ale! This member of the Rooie Dop family is clean and very hoppy. Saaz hops from the old world balancing out the epic Citra hops from the new world. A beer with less than 5% alcohol, session drinking all day long!

UFO-riddled bottle, raising a tower of dense, fine, yellow head, slowly giving birth to orange gold-to-copper, very finely and lively carbonated, but strangely enough near clear beer. C-hop aroma, but also cookies, even liquorice. Exotic fruit syrup, rosewater concentrate - smelling pretty sweet. Toasted and hopbitter, but with a really syrupy-sweet undercurrent. Fruit dried fruit on cake, liquorice, bitter spices. Very slightly sticky, well-carbonated, light to medium bodied. Hoppy bitterness in the aftertaste. Somehow, it doesn’t convince me - there’s just too much sweet malts for its intended purpose. Which does not make it a bad beer, mind!

Bottle at home. High fluffy and long lasting white head. Hazy amber orange body. Dusty straw bisquit aroma. Mildly hopped and yet quite tasty orange lemon flavor with low carbonation and a surprisingly long finish. Well done.

(Bottle, In De Wildeman, Amsterdam, 1 March 2014) Hazy amber colour with frothy, off-white head. Malty, fruity nose with citrus, apricots, grapefruit and slightly grainy malt. Malty, hoppy taste with notes of grainy malt, apricots, orange peel, grapefruit, crisp-bread and a certain citric bitterness. Medium body, quite dry. Tasty and refreshing, highly drinkable. Nice one.

330ml bottle. Hazy orange color. Small size, white head, stays. Fruity, yeast, sour notes in aroma. Sour, grainy, horse blanket in taste. Messy for me. Not APA for my taste.

33 cl bottle @ home, BBE 19.09.2013
Aroma has citrus, some resiny tones and caramel. Also some hops and fruits. Flavour has some plastic tones, gooseberry bush and fruity notes. Aroma was nice but flavour is bitter in a harsh way. Plastic notes take over at the end of the glass.

Idiosynkrasie (8195) - Bielefeld, GERMANY - NOV 3, 2013
330ml bottle. Minimally cloudy orangey dark golden colour with average, frothy, fairly lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Multifaceted hop aroma, floral, citrusy, herbal, minimally piney touch, cautious fruity hints of mango and grapefruit, a touch of dill, floral, yeasty overtones. Taste is dry, piney and herbal hoppy, cautious caramel malty basis, a minimally tart, tannic, chlorophyllic and chalky hop note reigns the finish. Slightly too raw.
