Bottle from Douberd - many thanks, Christos! The beer pours out in a hazy orange-amber colour with airy steady head and medium body. Aroma of hops and sweet citrus fruits. Taste of mild hops, oranges, lemonade, flowers, dust, nuts and straw. Sweet, caramel-like finish. Too sweet for me but otherwise quite nice. jookos (6762) - FINLAND - JUN 19, 2015

@Nederlandse Bieren Festival Delft - Hazy blond colour. Aroma of tropical fruit. Texture is smooth. It’s quite bitter but the hops have a strong fruity taste. Indeed a very east to drink session beer packed with flavour. Countbeer (6592) - Best of E-Town mit 2 Brauhausen, NETHERLANDS - OCT 6, 2013
Bottle: Served in a Chouffe glass:
Funny thing, today at the Eindhoven Beerfestival the lads of De Rooie Dop told me that the keg was a bit old and let me taste a bit from that keg. It tasted more planty and dusty. They told me the bottles atthe store, they brought along, were only 3 weeks old. So to taste this beer fresh, I got a bottle right away. And hell yeah this one is nothing close to planty and dusty but fruity and bitter! Very good!
Medium sized vast and slowly changing, sticky creamy foamy head on top of a hazy to murky orange colored beer.
Aromas of load of hop fruits: peach, apricot, mango, pine apple, some grapefruit, hop flowers, herbs, fruity herbs, tea herbs, some cloves, fruity malts and crispy!
Flavours of hops, herbs, cloves, mango, peach, apricot, grapefruit, bitter, yeast, some leaves, fruity floral tones, light malty tone and some fruity herbs that come from the fruity hops and yeast. Lovely fruity and bitter!
Aftertaste is bitter with lot of (bitter) gruits, herbs, some porridge malts and creamy hay.
Low carbo, soft creamy mouthfeel, medium to fuller bodied and a creamy texture.
Marvelous beer! Whether they come from The Netherlands or not, this is better than the Laugar Hop Shock!

A nice and classy apa with a decent hoppy start and some grass, citrus in the Aroma. Easy to drink with some bittersweet moments. Quaffy all the way without being rocket science. reebtogi (6270) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - DEC 27, 2014
330ml bottle pours a hazy golden orange color with a huge white head with good retention and leaving some nice lacing on the glass. Aroma is citrus and grains with some piney notes. Taste is a citrus and pine hop bitterness with some spicy notes and a grainy malty sweetness. Light to medium bodied with generous carbonation. A very well done session ale with lots of flavor and worth checking out. jfb (6269) - GERMANY - JUL 2, 2013

Small shortlasting head. Aroma is fresh fruity, lemon, leafs, newly cut lawn, fresh hops, hay, citrus peel. Taste is fresh hoppy, newly cut lawn, hops, leafs, sap, bark, hay, hints of pine needles. Medium to longlasting bitterness, slightly dry mouthfeel. Very nice and easy drinking.
Misty orange body, large stable head. Significant hop aroma, classic yet rich enough to give a modern appeal. Oranges and light malts, summery. Quite bitter though, good, but dry, sour even. Not sessionable because if lack if taste, but because of its dry character. Turned out well and interesting. (Tilburg Beer Festival)
