Pours a pitch black beer with a good tan head. Smells bourbon, vanilla, dried fruits. Tastes much coffee, roasted, bourbon, chocolate and vanilla. Nice. As smoothy as the normal one. Thick body, oily texture and a low carbo. Absolutely great beer.

On tap at Max's. Mainly it tastes an smells like stout wort coming straight out of the mash tun. I go back and forth as to whether I like or hate it. Thin body, lacking in carbonation. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Barwa: ciemna, nie przejrzysta nawet pod światło. Piana beżowa/ jasno brązowa, niewielka, szybko opadająca, ale ładnie oblepiająca szkło. Wysycenie niskie. Moim zdaniem warto.

Bottle from Cotteridge Wines, Birmingham. Just about black. Halo of tan head. Aroma is treacle, light cocoa, quality chocolate. All is light and airy, though. Distant booziness. Taste is melted Cadbury Fudge. With boozy fruit. Which is good. Palate is thick, but smooth. Smoky, dry finish. Bitterness at the end ties everything together.

Bottled. Pitch black colour, small brown head. Aroma is powder, bourbon, ripe fruits, liquorice and some mild notes of alcohol. Flavour is raisins, toasted malts, roasted malts as well as some ripe fruits and liquorice. Slight alcohol, but not disturbingly much.

330ml bottle

Pours pitch black with a tiny white head. Aroma of buttery bourbon notes, wood, vanilla, oak and roasted malts. Taste is smooth, sweet and buttery with loads of bourbon notes, oak, vanilla and roastiness. Finish is smooth, roasty and woody with notes of bourbon, vanilla and ash. Quite sweet and buttery bourbon aged IS. Okay.
