Tiefschwarz, wenig Schaum.

éjsötét színű, sűrű nedű, barna habbal a tetején, csokoládé, vanília, kávé is tán, gyógynövényes likőrösség, no meg az alkohol az illatában és ízében. sűrű olajos, nehéz sör. imádom

This beer in incredible! Very complex, thick and dark when you pour it into your glass, has a nice brownish foam. The aroma and taste are very good. You can smell the bourbon but it is nice balanced in the taste. A lot of roast, caramel, cereal, chocolate and some coffee. It has a full body with a oily and thick texture.

UPDATED: JUL 24, 2014 Bottled from Bierkoning, Amsterdam. Opaque black appearance, small brown head, mostly lasting. Not that powerful, but nonetheless nice, aroma of roasted malts,(lots of) coffee, little bit of chocolate, salty liquorice, vanilla, wood, bourbon. Very complex and developing flavor, initially some sweet roasted malts, some coffee and vanilla, then bitter hops take over, wood, bitter chocolate, with in the end lasting bitter and bourbon flavors. Low of carbonation, making it easy to drink, Everlasting finish. Reminded me a bit of a barrel-aged Gonzo, but this one is lower on vanilla and more complex than that. I initially already mentioned that the base would be very suitable for barrel-aging, and this selection of barrels may have been the perfect ones. Apart from the aroma which could have been a bit stronger, this is absolutely a very, very good beer that ranks among my personal favorites. Please make more of this guys!

UPDATED: OCT 12, 2013 dark brown colour, moderate foamy brown head; aroma of roasted malt, chocolate, vanilla, cream liqueur and some alcohol; taste of malty sweetness, chocolate, herbs (it reminds me to the expectorant of my childhood, mixtura pectoralis), liqueur, some smoked notes and minimal spicy alcohol; really complex stout.
