Pours brown-black. Toffee-head leaving generous lacing. Aroma is expresso, baker's chocolate, roasted malts, with notes of hops and spice. Flavour is more bitter than the nose would suggest with hops balancing the roasted malts and chocolate. There are also hazelnut notes. Moderate body. A very solid oatmeal stout.

Small shared bottle during RBHD geocatching session. Kindly provided by Sigmund. Dense brown, small head covering a black body. Green apples and prunes. Sweet, roasted raisins, coffee and burnt notes. Full bodied. Long roasted finish

Shared 330 ml bottle at local tasting, from Kihiosk, Copenhagen. ABV is 9.6%. Black colour, huge and lasting tan head. Moderate malty and roasty aroma, notes of caramel, chocolate, oats and mild coffee. The flavour has notes of molasses, oak, caramel and roasted malts, also chocolate and coffee. Quite good.

Bottle at Pigalle. Roasty, chocolate, bit sweet. Taste is boozy, oats, good stuff. Had drunk a lot by this stage, so a bit hazy.

JaBier (8235) - Capital City, Ohio, USA - NOV 12, 2014
Bottle shared by a friend. Darkest brown pour with a thin beige head. Aroma of malt, dark fruit and molasses. Malty and raisiny flavor with some roast before a chocolate finish.

arkurzynski (2463) - Combined Locks, Wisconsin, USA - NOV 9, 2014
Deep black with minimal head. Nose of dark chocolate, roast malt, faint smoky coffee and dark fruit. Flavor is a pretty even mix of roast malt and dark fruit (plum, raisin, dark cherry) with some caramel and bitter chocolate. Lingrering grainy roast. Bitter chocolate.

Gerbeer (4008) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - NOV 8, 2014
330 ml bottle. Pours black with no head. Aromas of dark berries. Flavors of roasted malts, alcohol and dried dark chocolate.

Double Oatmeal Stout przy przelewaniu jest barwy ciemnobrązowej, w szklance czarny nie przejrzysty. Pianę posiada dość skąpą, ale utrzymuje się długo oraz ładnie zdobi ścianki szklanki. W aromacie mamy dominujący zapach kawy i czekolady.

motelpogo (8031) - Plzen, CZECH REPUBLIC - OCT 26, 2014
bottled - 2 years old. black with a coffee cream head; aroma of crushed biscuits - iced vovos; decent roasty character - chocolate syrup, good hit of bitterness, a touch sour in the finish

Kita (2243) - Koper, SLOVENIA - OCT 9, 2014
Bottle, 0.33l. Pours cloudy black with small creamy light brown head that dissipates quickly. Aroma of chocolate, roasted malt, coffe, caramel, dark fruits and spicy hops. Taste starts with touch of fruity acidity, which is quickly dominated by sweet and rich chocolate, roasted malt and licorice, mouthfeel is warming with moderate alcohol note, while finish is pleasant medium bitter. Full body, syrupy texture and soft carbonation in palate. Despite high ABV, this is incredibly drinkable brew...
