Aroma:
Medium aroma of malts, caramel, liquorice, chocolate, roasted malts and coffee.

Appearance:
Opaque black beer with medium yeast and with a slight brown/dark brown head.

Taste/Palate:
Starts medium sweet with malts, caramel, liquorice and chocolate, ends slightly bitter and dry with roasted malts and coffee.

Overall:
This beer is intense, complex and balanced. A lot of liquorice and roasted malts dominate the flavour, making this an overall pleasant Imperial Russian Stout. Sadly the head is nothing impressive and the different flavours could have more depth.

Bottle, 330 ml from Pivoljub, Ljubljana. Pours black with tan head. Roasted malts, coffee, chocolate. Sweet. Had this acidic note which ruined it for me.

Deep dark / black colour with off white head... vanishes after a while. Smells like chocolate and bread. Tastes of Lakrisal, anice, fennel and chocolate. Dry and a bit sweet almost like cherries. Heavy alcohol flavour, but not to much! Nice!
