0.33l bottle from trade with MrHangover. Thanks man! A quite over-filled bottle that pours a deep brown body with a over-gigantic layering and lacing chocolate-colored fluffy head. Takes quite a while for it to calm down as well, but when it has, I get a good dash of chocolate, roasted malts and some ice cream in the aroma. Also tones of some green apples, nail polish remover, wood and a little bit of wet cardboard. The flavor is at first a bit yeasty with more green apples, but then it switches over in to this roasted and bitter killing machine! Heavy heavy roasted with a really big bitterness, I also get black chocolate with a suiting warming almost nail polish boozy finish before the chocolate malty aftertaste takes over. At first I feared this might be a bad bottle or something, but it quickly redeemed itself for being a fine imp stout. 07.07.2012

Bottle 0,33L. Courtesy of Gregor. Pours ruby, dark brown, almost black color with thin, creamy, light brown head. Perfect aroma is mixture of black coffee, dark chocolate, burnt caramel, some dark fruits and a touch of cask wood. Taste starts moderate to heavy bitter with a strong note of coffee and burnt caramel, become slightly sweet for a moment and finish bitter. Full body, creamy texture and soft carbonation. Interesting date of experience: "Best enjoyed within 25 years".

I see the date on the bottle is 4-7-14 and I just bought it a month ago at Beers of the World. I poured it hard and still got no head or lace from this. Aroma of roasted malts, a weird tart notel, some hops, some grains, malts, cocoa and some weak coffee. The taste has that same weird tartness to it along with some pretty bitter hops and hard roasted malts. Bitter coffee, cocoa beans and some grainy malts. I think there was something wrong with this bottle?
