A strong taste is provided by chocolaty and roasted malts, which are combined with soft smoothness from the oats. Add up a little bitterness from Columbus hops and you’ll get a dangerously drinkable Double Oatmeal Stout!

Bottle. Blackish brown beer with a very strong bubbly head. The aroma is rich and roasted, and the flavour is very, very strongly malty with large amounts of roasted bitterness. Overall though a pretty average imperial stout. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

It might not have been the best idea to age it 3 years. Soy sauce in moderate amounts, alcohol not present, there's decent amount of chocolate and coffee to it. Decent beer, but nothing outstanding.

UPDATED: JUN 5, 2017 330ml bottle (Brevinga, Riga)
Fairly oxidised stout aroma, but this was bottled 3 and a half years ago, raisiny and a touch woody. Burnt roasty taste, a little savoury. Lightish but fullish too, smooth and drinkability rather decent, soft carbonation. Alcohol covered, nicely mellowed with age. Finish fairly burnt and a little bitey, bitter dryness lasts quite a while.

33 cl. bottled 4 Jul 2014. Just a small "pfff" upon opening, and I’ve never seen a bottle filled so close to the cap even in my own homebrewing experience! The hard pour generates a lasting film of cream on the deep ebony brew. Aroma is oats, caramel, cocoa, soy, blackstrap molasses and a bit of red wine. Flavors of soy, dark chocolate, oats, blackberry, caramel and tarragon vinegar. Medium-heavy bodied with low carbonation and a dry acidic slant.

Piana nieduża, średnio trwała. Barwa ciemno brązowa, nieprzejrzysta. Aromat niezbyt intensywny, głównie melasa, karmel, suszona węgierka, pumpernikiel i czekolada mleczna. Smak słodko gorzki z kwaskowym posmakiem śliwki, do tego czekolada, karmel, palono popiołowa goryczka, całkiem spora, długa, z alkoholowym finiszem, tytoniem i wiśnią w aftertejsie. Niskie wysycenie, pełne i ciężkie w odbiorze.
