Bottle from 100 piv. Hazy orange colour white stable head. Aroma hops, citrusy, fresh, lemon, tangerine, orange, caramel and bisquity malt tones. Taste is complex and rich, high bitterness in contrast with full malty bisquity taste. Full body. Alcohol in taste, warming. Bitter aftertaste. Very good.

(bottle, 33cl) Hazy, amber colour with a short and off-white foamy head. Fruity hoppy and mildly piney aroma with notes of cough syrup, citrus zests and black tea, backed by a mildly caramelly malty touch. Sweet-bitter flavour, full bodied with a soft carbonation. Syrupy malty and juicy fruity, slightly piney hoppy taste with notes of ripe fruits, even exotic accents; balanced bitter-sweet and lasting finish with a muted alcoholic strength. Quaffable. 20.VI.15

Bottle from 100 piv. Amber golden color with thick off-white head. Nice citrus hoppy aroma with caramel, honey. Nice citrus hoppy taste with zest, pines, caramel, light honey. Long hoppy bitter finish. Alcohol is recognizable not in disturbing way. Very tasty beer.

Gurthnar (6110) - Bratislava, SLOVAK REPUBLIC - AUG 20, 2015
Bottle at 100 piv. Aroma lots of hops, citrusy. Also lots of maltiness, biscuity, toffee. Hazy deep orange colour. Stable head. The most noticeable thing for me here is the overall intensity of all the flavours. Same as in aroma, not overly complicated, but rich, rather full bodied but also rather bitter. Very high bitterness overcomes high residual sweetness. Alcohol is noticeable yet feels mellow, adding a layer of pleasant warmth. Excellent.

Hopmaestro (1687) - Örebro, SWEDEN - AUG 1, 2015
Aroma is stuffed with deep grapefruits and oranges. Very juicy hops. A thick malt base dwells underneath. Taste is really thick and sweet fruits blended with some kind of herbal aura that I can’t put a name on. A little oily and soapy in the mouthfeel. A really big and bold IPA that I wish I can get my hands on again some time.

Cerveja com personalidade. Saborosa, amarga, muito lupulada e mesmo com alto teor alcóolico, muito equilibrada. Excelente!!!!

Lovely aroma very hop-forward. Taste is more balanced. Nice sweetness and good strong bitterness. Pretty dry finish. Oh and did I mention the looks of this Double IPA? Gorgeous. Cloudy dark amber colour. Good Double IPA.
